[video id: A one minute and fifty second video of a comedian Jo Sunday standing on stage in front of a crowd of people and a panel group of comedians, talking about how she feels when people leave her after a hang out. She is giving a presentation with slides that accompany her various points. The entire time she speaks her voice is shaky and anxious with many well timed voice cracks and pauses. This makes her sound like she is constantly on the verge of crying which adds to the comedic atmosphere. In this ID the transcription and descriptions of accompanying slides will be done simultaneously so as to get a more complete picture of how her presentation matches her speech. The transcription will follow the format [Slide description in brackets] followed by the audio transcription.
[Slide 1: Title page with text in all caps reading "Abolish going home after we're done hanging out / Jo Sunday"]
Jo: Abolish going home after we are done hanging out.
[Slide 2: A selfie of Jo looking to the side with a smile on her face. Text next to it reads, "Point 1: I am very lonely / like legit"]
Jo: Point number one, I am very lonely.
[Slide 3: Titled "More on the loneliness" with three blocks of text labelled Fact 1–3. "Fact #1 I don't have a girlfriend not even a little bit trust me you would know". "Fact #2 I have a lot of friends but I suspect they don't like me very much". "Fact #3 I believe I live under a curse however i don't have time to go into this further".
Jo: I don't have a girlfriend. Not even a little bit. Trust me, you would know. Point number two, I have a lot of friends but I suspect they don't like me very much. (Crowd aww's in sympath). Point number three, I believe there is a curse upon my life. However, we don't have time (long pause) to go into this further.
[Slide 4: Titled "We were having fun before so why would you leave and where are you going?_". Smaller text below this reads, "Subpoint: I will miss you. Subpoint: I'll be bored without you. Imagine how bored I'll be and I might have to do chores [crying emoji]"
Jo: Point number 2, ah we were having fun before, so why would you leave? And where are you going? Subpoint, I will miss you. Subpoint B, ah if you leave then i might have to do chores in my house. Oh my goodness gracious." (Smacks forehead softly).
[Slide 5: Titled "Point 3: I will get scared". Smaller text below this in a cascading block reads, "I am scared / I am scared / I am scared / I am scared / I am safe / I am whole / No I am not / I am scared / I am happy / No I am not / I am scared / I am quite scared". Next to this is another block of text reading, "I will get scared and feel that you hate me. The worry will set in. I will think a series of thoughts that can't possibly be good for anyone. I will assess my behavior in thick blood-red ink. I repeat, the worry will set in."]
Jo: If you leave I will get scared. I will get very scared. I will begin to worry that you hate me. And I will begin to think a lot of thoughts that won't be good for any of us if- if that happens. So please just stay, okay? Okay.
[Slide 6: Titled "here is a sampling of the worries i will endure if you leave". Text next to this reads, "Does that person like me / Probably not / Did act weird to them / Probably yes / What if I blacked out and slapped them across the face but they were too polite to say anything about it / Probably yes \ I COULD watch a movie but then i would think about what you would think about the various happenings of the movie / The fact that you have other friends and family members and that you might like them more than me"
Jo: Here is a sampling of the worries that I Jo will endure if we were hanging out before and then you left my house and I wouldn't like it.
(Addresses crowd directly)
Jo: Okay, you're feeling bad for me? Yes, yes, but you won't be there at all okay? So just, let's just not even get ourselves into that situation
Comedian Lily Du (wincing and looking at her watch): Actually... It's about time for me to leave.
Comedian Andy Vega: I think we're going to get going
Andy Vega: I know that, that in the presentatio–
Jo: What do you have to do tomorrow that I can't be part of?
Lily Du (gestures to the group of comedians) : We all sleep in one big bed.
Andy Vega: We have a bed...
Lily Du: Willy Wonka style.
Comedian Jamie Linn Watson: Willy Wonka grandparents' style.
Jo: Wait, that's literally the issue is when people leave, when they're hanging out with you, who are you going to hang out with?
Andy Vega: We're hanging out with other people that aren't you.
Andy Vega: We are your friends that secretly hate you and we gotta go.
Jo: Can I say something? I know it's a comedy show like I'm like– it's like almost too much for me?
Jo: It's al– like i feel like I'm living in like a literal fucking nightmare right now (shaky laugh).
