Keep Moving Forward

                 ”I see.” She nodded, walking along. They came to a wide open space, and Blaze looked around. There was plenty of room here to do this, thankfully. “All right, now you must listen to me, Cornelius.” She said, turning to him. “This is an extremely delicate process that I don’t show many people. The only reason I’m showing you is because you need to get home.                  ”I need full concentration and your promise that you will not tell a single soul what you saw today. Do you understand?”

"Trust me, I can keep a secret. I've got way too many already. What's one more?" 

“And I’m sure you will. Perhaps you could present your new invention at our Science Fair next week, hm?”

He chewed on his bottom lip slightly, before he smiled. "Thank you, sir! I appreciate your help and advice." 

風—           “yep, no matter none of them.” Raimundo said playing         with the ruby on his hands, he nodded at the boy’s         request. Pretty much expecting it.               “Sure, but let’s go somewhere more secluded, I don’t         want to freak out anyone.” Once they were out of         people’s sight in an alley Raimundo pondered what         would be best to lift, only seeing the boy in there,         he smirked. Oh what the heck, it’ll be funny.         He pointed the Ruby at the young blonde boy.               “Ruby of Ramses!” This glowed for a moment and Raimundo         started to lift effortlessly the boy’s body off the         ground, moving it from one side to the other slowly.

Still he waited, expression apprehensive. As his body began to lift up off of the ground, he waved his arms desperately. "Whoa, whoa!" His eyes widened slightly, and he let out a breathless laugh that was also slightly panicked. "W-What - but how..?!" 

              “Magic, of course! That’s what I said, is it not?”

  ‘ mmm, no. i just, well-     i got very lost, i guess. ’

    ❂  [ ℛ ]  ❂                         "That so? Well, that's fine.                         Happens to us all. I'm Cornelius                         Robinson - and you are..?" 

      ❝It’s not polite to stare, you know. ❞

    ❂  [ ℛ ]  ❂                         "W-What? oh! Sorry. I didn't mean, uh.. I'm Cornelius.." 

"Oh, well you just have to take the cable car until Jefferson St." Hiro said, "It should be here any minute. Why are you going there, anyways?"

    ❂  [ ℛ ]  ❂                         "Jefferson street, got it, thanks." He nodded, before he paused. "Oh.. well, it's my first day. Initiation and all.." He rubbed his neck.

             ”Now America, I’ve heard of. Is Philadelphia some sort of country or city state on the continent?” She asked beginning to walk, knowing the young man would follow her. “This is the Sol Dimension — my world. I don’t know how you got here…but I know how to get you out.” She told him.              Turning her head, she made eye contact. “However, inter-dimensional travel is very tricky, and since I don’t know how to get to Philadelphia, I can’t promise you we’ll get you home right away.”

"Right.." Of course there was a catch. "Well, I'll find a way home from wherever we end up, I'm sure.." 

    ❂  [ ℛ ]  ❂                         "Well, yeah, actually! It's pretty close by here. It's a big building, you can't really miss it. I can show you, if you like.." 

            [✖] ––– It was an accident. She’d been messing around with the maglev discs, getting used to using the technology for anything besides her bike, and she’d accidentally — key word, accidentally — sent one flying over a tall fence onto someone’s property. Giving an uneasy gaze towards the odd gate which had two doorbells, Leiko decided to skirt the issue entirely, using her remaining two discs to get herself around the pesky obstacle. Once across she found that the house was even stranger than the gate, but she was determined to get her disc back, so she began scanning the area.

"Hello there! I think this might belong to you?" 

♪― "Cooorneliuuuuus," Franny whined as she crossed the laboratory to where he sat. She had been here for nearly half an hour and Cornelius had barely said two words to her because he was so invested in whatever it was he was working on. Not about to let that stand, she slumped over on top of him. She wrapped her arms loosely around his neck, rested her chin on his shoulder, and mumbled into his ear, "I’m bored."

                        For a couple of minutes, he'd actually forgotten Franny was there. Immediately, he felt a little bad about it, once he felt her slump over him, and his eyes rose up to stare at her in surprise. He sometimes got so caught up he'd forget about everyone around him. Bad habits. He grinned slightly at her words, and shook his head. "I'm sorry, am I not entertaining you?" He supposed he could use a little break.. "What do you want to do?"
