Many of you have been following my mental health journey, and I’m happy to report that I’m officially trying an anti-depressant, which we hope will stabilize my anxiety at all times, and combat the depressive periods as well. It also is likely to help me sleep, which would be a joy. I’m excited, and a little nervous if I’m honest—I have been anxious all my life, and a non-anxious me is one I know from day-to-day, but imagining a me not anxious, able to sleep, always, is in many ways a new concept, and for some reason intimidating. But I’m mostly excited and hopeful that this will make a difference (so far it’s made me maaaybe more calm, and definitely more sleepy).
