I noticed how when people found out that a child who was starved to death in Gaza had cerebral palsy their attitude changed. “Oh, well they had cerebral palsy so of course they died, but I’m sure the normal kids are fine” as if the fact a child was disabled makes their life worth less. A child was killed, a disabled child who needed care was murdered by Israel.

The genocide in Palestine is a mass disabling event. Will you stop caring when almost everyone is disabled? When all of them are expected to die because they are disabled? Is a life lost easier to ignore for you when that person was disabled?
