12 weeks pregnant and after a full day of shopping and Christmas stuff and prepping for family, my husband has decided that I require an impromptu foot spa night. He is and has always been my hero.

Trying to relax tonight. Saturdays are always anxious when he's in the field. Painted a little, hot mint tea, rose clay face mask, Disney marathon... It all seems a little empty.

Lots of bright colors this week, soft flowers and warm tea. Spring is arriving and it's beautiful.

With coronovirus and pregnancy anxiety, I miss being able to have wine. My substitution today is apple juice and sparkling grape water.

At least you'll be home so soon! If the Army would get their shit together then I would have had you back 17 panic attacks ago.

I feel like the highs were really high and the lows really hurt and it was too much trying to balance between them. I feel exhausted.

You're usually my emotional sounding board. It's hard to not only have you gone all day, but not being able to respond to anything. I feel useless trying to sort out my own difficulties by myself.

I wish you could come home.

I had a productive early afternoon and an extremely lazy late afternoon. You were right, making tacos was a treat of a dinner and in really appreciated it.

Penny was snoozles and I saved almost 79% on groceries with my extreme couponing. I wish you were home to reward me with kisses. At least Adventure Bear go to be showered with snacks. I love you.

Day 3 of field time: adventure bear is the cutest fucking thing I've seen and I miss you so much.

Day 2 of field time: Adventure Bear sends a sunrise good morning, Penny sleeps through absolutely everything, and I enjoy a bowl of beans. Beans are very comforting against the sad.

Sometimes when you lose your shit about a Britta pitcher, you need a soft day to reset. I'm disappointed I let external things effect my relationship but I'm lucky to have a husband who knows the power of an apology.

When it's 25 outside, you stay inside and cuddle

A collection of happy moments from the past week. When Penny the puppo wanted more treats, a dinner of cheese shapes and nuggets that my love made me at 10 at night because I had a late shift, his promotion to 1LT where he chose me to pin his new rank, and a soft wide eyes bunny.

It's nice to have a quiet moment and see all the joy in a week that has felt like a tornado. I can't remember the last time I've been so busy. All I can do is put one foot in front of the last and remember to breathe. My Wright man keeps me stable with his love 💕

Sunday calm.

Puzzle time and reading under the shade of the trees in the backyard. Warm, bright, and glorious.

Baked goods are beautiful and Penny is a pancake.

There's something so peaceful about baking. The smell of the vanilla, sugar, yeast... It feels so satisfying to pull out puffed up goodies out of the oven. It's such a feeling of accomplishment.

Also look at that cute snoot. Dear lord is she cute.

Had a great place to see all the fireworks along the border. The love of my life, a great friend, a dog, and some twizzlers- what more could a soul want?

Just one more day until he’s home. 24 short hours until he’s back. It doesn’t feel real yet. 228 days apart and I’ll finally going to be in the same place as my fiancee. I want everything to be perfect <3
