Got to my mom's house to make my sister in law's birthday cheesecake (she has a stand mixer and I hate doing cheesecake by hand). Turns out I forgot my spring form pan!! At home!! My angel husband is going to go back for it for me, but this puts me like half an hour behind 🫠. We need to go to the city today for groceries and then hopefully go back to the fair tonight, so I'm going to have to work quickly.

Today’s baking experiment: parm & black pepper crackers!
They came out pretty good! After tasting them, I think the dough itself needs a bit more salt but otherwise a really good recipe!
Recipe I used:
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar (optional)
Seasonings of choice
1/3 cup water
1.5 tbsp olive oil
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl, add the wet ingredients. Mix until it forms a ball, let rest for 10 mins. Preheat oven to 425°F. Roll dough out on a floured surface to about 1/8th inch thick, cut the dough into whatever shape you like, and bake for 12-18 mins. Baking time may vary.
made everything bagels today (not gluten free sadly)... i was a little worried they were underproofed since they sunk when i boiled them but they turned out pretty good
