Ace and Deuce often upset each other on a deeper level than they let on. That's because of how their care and everyday interactions are a bit painful like when you are cuddling with a cat and they start making biscuits on your bare skin and sink their claws into it. They love and relay on each other but they say and do things that hurt each other.

Then Ace sometimes will poke a button for Sebek that actually upsets him and they won't talk to each over for a week until Ace figures out what he did wrong and apologizes.

Shout out to that one tumblr post that was like: "You know it's not just trans people who ponder their gender, it's healthy for cis people to take a look inside and be like! Yep that's all good!" And I read this post and was like.... like what do you look at inside though T O T??? I asked my boyfriend how he knew he was a boy and he said he just felt this unexplainable intrinsic feeling he was a boy... and I'm like... I think it would have been great if at some point in Book 1 they were compared, because one's past/situation doesn't invalidate the other's. Both situations can coexist without without contradicting themselves.
