Olicity story Prompt:ā I canāt tell people that I met the love of my life in the bathroomā¦ā
Hey everyone! This is my first attempt at writing anything Olicity related so I am super nervous I decided to write a prompt provided by A friend of mine on TwitterĀ

An extra special shout out goes out to her and MuseOlivers for their very encouraging words in helping give me the confidence to do this after so many years of not writing.
MuseOlivers has some of the most fantastical Olicity fan fiction out there so check her stories out.

Now without further ado on with the story!!
Prompt:ā I canāt tell people that I met the love of my life in the bathroomā¦ā
Felicity Smok guided yes guided her big strong fiancƩ Oliver Queen by the shoulders into his office.
Checking to make sure that they were alone on the top floor of Queen Consolidated when she realized they were felicity deposited Oliver against the front portion of his black marble deck.
They were going to have this conversation now. Felicity had been asking him for months yes months what they were going to do about this situation and Oliver had simply refused to acknowledge the subject.
He was the king of deflection he would use any means necessary not to discuss this topic he would use work, missions, and her personal favorite mind-blowing sex.
Focus felicity now is not the time to be thinking about thotā¦ Right anger in 3..2..1
By the time she got to 1 she was already there because as she was counting she glanced up behind her shoulder from the window she was gazing out of trying to figure out how best to approach the subject in question Oliver had lean back crossed his feet along with his arms and had the smirky little smile on his face as he gazed upon her
That was it she was angry before but now oh now she was just plain furious she crosses the room so quick that you would think that she was sonic the hedgehog.
The next thing that Oliver knew or rather more specifically felt was angry little pokes and slaps to his chest he couldnāt help himself, but he started laughing.
Felicity knew that she was going to have bruises probably for the next week, but she was so mad at him and to top it off he was laughing at her now. That was when she started to cry.
Instantly, Oliver felt extremely guilty and stopped laughing. He tilted her chin up so that her eyes met his and he said, āHey, hey now none of that I wasnāt laughing at your expense I was just laughing at the adorableness
of your little pokes to my chest. It is one of the many things that I love about you because thatās what makes you, you.ā
Feeling slightly better about the situation but still annoyed Felicity backed away from where she now stood taking a deep breath she started the discussion again
āThe fact that you donāt know really distresses me at this point. But for arguments sake Iāll just tell you why Iām so angry. Iāve been asking you what you want us to tell people where we met.ā
āI am meeting your mother and your little sister for the first time Oliver in two daysā¦ Two daysā¦ 48 hours from right now. Our relationship is not new we started dating 18 months ago then a year ago you decided to propose in a romantic candlelit dinner at your apartment.ā
āOf course, my answer was yes.ā
I immediately wanted to call both of our families and tell them our wonderful news. You pleaded with me to keep our engagement secret, and we collectively decided that it would probably be best if we did just that for a while.
We each didnāt discover the reason for keeping our engagement a secret from each otherās families until a little while later.
Oliver continued, āMy reason was rather simple I couldnāt tell my mother because she has always me with my long-term ex-girlfriend Laurel who I would constantly cheat on because I never really loved her.
That never seemed to bother my mother the only thing that she really cared about was the fact that the two of us were from star cityās most influential families. Plus, she was convinced that once I sewed my wild oats chances were excellent that once we were married I would stop cheating and I would realize that I truly loved her or grow to love her.
As for why I didnāt tell Thea that reason was justified as well as angry as she Is at my mother for keeping her true paternity to Malcolm a Secret sheās even more mad at me for Keeping this secret for someone I claim to hate because she lied about everything.
Only my sister doesnāt care that I was trying to protect her from our mothers lies, from the biggest lie of them all her true parentage.ā
āAnd what better way to stick it to the person she hates the most then to give the one person who would use any means necessary to keep me from you because knowing her as well as I do she is going to continue like hell to get me back with Laurel."
I canāt walk up to them or other people and say I met the love of my life in a bathroom The people who are not looking at me with complete horror and disgust will say interesting where was this love connection made?
And listen Oliver that was just the dinner portion the tale gets even better than that I was a cocktail waitress at a strip club that you frequented at the time.
So now you know why Iām pissed Iāve asked you months ago what you wanted to tell people because I will not tell them that. Particularly youāre mother and your sister for their sanity and for ours as well. Just like when you meet my mom tomorrow you canāt very well tell her that youāre the green arrow can you?
After Felicity said the last part of that sentence, she noticed that a look of complete understanding flashed in Oliver's eyes.Ā Ā Finally, he understood after months of arguing and frustration she had finally gotten through to him.
Now there was only one small problem that Felicity had to deal with the tears still streaming down her face. Damn her emotions.
Oliver gently took her hands and kissed to each one of her knuckles before placing a kiss on her mouth it doesnāt matter Felicity what we tell them our eyes will tell them everything they need to know. We wonāt have to say anything trust me they will know.
