Attracting the attention of felines had always been something of a special skill of his. His earliest memories consisted of cats swarming him like he were some kit of theirs, following him around like worried parents and always looking up at him with those dazzling cat eyes of theirs. In a world that didn’t quite feel welcoming to be in, the whines of attention hungry cats were the one thing he found something like solace in.

The softness of their fur as he pet them also proved to be a remedy to calm what lay within. A soft chuckle leaving the man as he enjoyed the warmth of the multi colored cat that molded to the hold of his arms around it. Red eyes flicking to the side as a familiar face emerged, struck in awe and wonder at the scene before them.

More than ten cats crowded about his legs and general area as if drawn to him for some inexplicable reason. “There’d be more if I were.” It’d be a nightmare if he dared to hold even a smidge of catnip on him, swarmed by the felines like someone who incited the wrath of a beehive. “You look as though you’ve never seen a cat.”

“Nah. Never in my life.”

They leave him with that smart remark in favor of the cat in front of them, though it’s not as interested in Shinsha as they are in it - Iori’s just more interesting than whatever affection they can offer, and the cat, already bored, ignores them as quickly as it had approached.

Shinsha themself stays crouched down, chin in hands, their attention now turned back to what is undeniably the weirdest man they’ve ever met. Can’t complain about his choice in friends, at least.

One would think that, after wasting years of their youth working at this particular Lawson, they might be able to accurately judge the speed at which the automatic doors open - yet Shinsha, squeezing themself through doors too slow to contain their excitement, spills out onto the sidewalk in a mad rush to get outside.

A moment passes wherein they regain their composure, though it’s not an easy feat. There are more cats milling about outside their store than they’d thought had even lived in the neighborhood, and in the center of them all, the unofficial guardian of their store. No doubt this is his doing.

“What the hell is this...?”

Their tone is hardly accusatory; in fact there’s none of the usual bite in their voice at all. A mix of confusion and wonderment have taken the place of vitriol for once, and they kneel down to pet a cat that’s deigned approach.

blood code is achlys - similar to the darkseeker blood code, its gifts center around inflicting venom. quick mobility, high mind and willpower, mid dexterity, tragically low strength, vitality and fortitude. poor hp and defense is almost nonexistent.

it goes without saying that they generally prefer to avoid fights, but they have a bayonet should they ever need it.

had a blood disorder when they were human, not sure what it was, but it transferred over when they became a revenant - in a similar vein as autoimmune disorders, the cells in their blood that allow them to use gifts attack other blood cells. they use antivenom as medication because their own blood is slowly poisoning them.

their skin and body fluids aren’t poisonous to the touch but their blood is. if they get wounded it’s better to just leave them.

lived in something of a small community not unlike louis’ group at home base. shinsha, self-conscious of their own weakness and unique constitution, isolated themself from the others. the others responded in kind; eventually self-isolation turned into alienation, and shinsha eventually just left.

they can usually be spotted sneaking around on the hunt for both blood beads and antivenom. they can be found pretty much anywhere but they tend to gravitate towards the city ruins.
