Michelangelo:

Mikey was infatuated with you from the beginning.

Hearing about you from April and how you were some big, toughie who could take on anything excited him, especially when he finally saw you for himself. Mikey created this perfect image in his head of what you were as a person, so seeing your confidence in action put him over the edge. He loved your confidence, your ego, how you carried yourself around others.

Mikey had stars in his eyes when he finally brought you home. His room was covered in different depictions of you, highlighting his vision of you to a disturbing degree. He didn’t see how much it scared you. Mikey doesn’t notice the fear in your eyes or the tremble in your voice as you try to keep up the facade he was constantly praising.

Mikey doesn’t notice until you finally crumble.

His initial reaction is to be hurt. He doesn’t like that you hid yourself from him, that you kept pushing yourself to be what you’re not. Don’t you know how stressful that is?

Mikey’s delusions intensify as he slowly convinces himself that you’ve changed for him, that your sweeter side came out because of how much you love him.

It doesn’t change much for him in the long run. Strong or sweet, you’re still by his side.

Donatello:

Donatello found you intriguing upon first meeting you. He had looked into your background and hadn’t found anything that special. No formal training, never been in a fight, and always backed down when things actually started to get heated. Donnie liked you. A lot. 

But he thought you were no more than a coward who needed his help. Help he was so gracious to offer. Since your showboating would obviously end up causing problems for you in the long run.

But that’s okay. Donnie could fix your attitude problems right up!

As he spends time with you, he notices it’s a lot easier to ‘train’ you than he thought. You’re quieter, easier to talk to. A complete 180o from the tough-guy persona he had originally thought he’d have to deal with.

Donnie gloats over your switchup, pleased that he had gotten you to soften up so soon. His ego spikes as he comes to the conclusion that you must have willingly changed for him. That you were acting like this because you wanted to be sweet for him. After all, what would you need to act strong for when Donnie was here to take care of your every waking need?

Raphael:

Raph is delighted upon meeting you. You’re like him! You get him on every level and aren’t afraid to back down. Sure, you’re still human so he has to heavy lifting to keep you safe. But he loves your fighting spirit. It’s so much fun to watch you try and pretend you don’t need Raph for everything.

When he finally brings you home, your change in attitude worries him. You’ve never been soft like this before. Never looked like you were lost. Raph grows more clingy with every sweeter side you show. He can’t help but keep you close. 

It takes Raph a while to figure out you were putting on an act. He’s upset as he realizes that he’d never really get to experience your fun strongman persona the same way again. Anytime you’d harden again, Raph would see through it. You’re truly just something that needs his help.

You’d get babied to the fullest extent. He wouldn’t trust any confidence you’d show him, settled into the belief that you’re nothing more than a softie pretending to be something else. Raph doesn’t mind, of course. He loves taking care of you.

He’ll make sure to keep a close eye on you so you can’t go tricking him like that again.

Leonardo:

Leo loves your fire. He’d spend hours listening to you talk as confidence oozes from your very being. It amuses him that you think he can’t notice it’s all an act.

Leo realizes from the very beginning you’re not being truthful with what you put out. He sees the hesitation when others test you, your panic when Leo jokes about it. He loves it all. 

He can’t help but try and scare you to see you flinch, knowing you were hiding something under the tough exterior you fabricated around yourself.

It doesn’t take long for him to finally crack through. Sure, killing your friends was a dirty trick, but in his defense it worked! All you had to do was stand up to him and he’d have stopped. Honest. It’s not his fault your fists can’t match your mouth.

Taking you home afterwards is all the more satisfying. He can see how easily you give in now. It’s like you’re not even trying as you bend at his every whim.

When you had first met Leo, he was hooked. He wanted to know everything about you. He took the time to know your hobbies and interests and wrote down everything he thought might be helpful. His world revolves around you.

He’s able to quickly cement himself as your best friend while he slowly curates a plan to keep you by his side forever. He’s always checking in on you, portaling to your side whenever you take a moment too long to respond to his needy texts. He keeps tabs on you without your knowledge, growing angrier and angrier as your friend group starts to grow and you hang outs with Leo become less frequent.

He’d hated the fact you shot down plans with him to be with other friends instead. He thought it wasn’t fair, that you were being selfish by going after people that weren’t him. He didn’t understand how you couldn’t see they weren’t good for you. That they would drop you as soon as it suited them.

Despite his growing warnings and attempts to pull you back to his side, you continued to blow him off for the new friends you were making. Leo felt stuck, determined to prove your friends weren’t good enough for you.

It wasn’t too hard to eventually hunt down an oozesquito and push it your way, watching carefully from atop some buildings to make sure nothing went too wrong. His heart swelled as the oozesquito drew near you, fighting his instincts to pull you away. You needed this, to see how quickly they would run the moment you changed.

They all ran as your transformation happened, their screams filling the streets while you were left alone and in pain. Leo knew it would happen, but seeing them abandon you still caused his anger to boil over.

He makes a mental note to hunt them down later, jumping down to help you first. The fur growing from your new skin was soft, solidifying his decision this being the right choice. It was like the mutation made you for him, your silky fur contrasting his rough scales.

He brings you down to the lair, ignoring his brother’s questions and your panicked state. He didn’t mean to let it slip that he let it happen, but your tears managed to get it out of him during his attempts to soothe you.

All it took was him leaving you alone for a second before you bolted, your new form increasing your speed tenfold. It didn’t matter in the end, though. He’s been training for years, and his portals gave him the edge.

He brings you back home, finally able to keep you where you belong. You’d learn to understand soon.

Leonardo

Leo’s initial reaction is strong. He’s betrayed and unbelieving, especially after knowing you for so long. You’ve seen everything they’ve been through, fought with them when battles got tough, and even helped patch everyone up multiple times. He feels a bit dumb after looking back over the time you’ve spent with them. You always seemed to know the Foot Clan’s moves and how they acted. When training, you were able to show them counters to the Foot’s moves. Sure, you always seemed to have an excuse, but now it was all making sense.

He ignores you for a while. He spends his time working though the news by meditating and training. He wants to forgive you, but feels it’ll be swept over if he rushes in too soon again. He’s hurt by the betrayal and the lack of trust you’ve shown by not telling him.

He’ll eventually come around again, almost out of the blue. He’ll acknowledge it by having you train with him more and having you tell them everything you know about the Foot, but won’t hold it over you. He understands why you didn’t say anything, even if he wishes you did.

However, while he seems to forgive you, he’ll continue looking into your past. He double checks everything you say. He can’t tell when you’re lying or not anymore, not after deceiving him and his family for so long. You’ve lost his trust and will have to work twice as hard to gain it back.

Raphael

He’s furious. So furious his brothers have to initially hold him back from doing something rash. He can’t help but feel deceived. He doesn’t trust anything you’ve ever said, completely convinced you’re still working with the Foot Clan.

He’s incredibly short and rude with you for a long time, shutting himself up in his room anytime you’re over at the lair. He’ll insult you to your face whenever he does end up in the same room as you. He doesn’t want to give you any inkling of hope that he’s okay with your years of lying. If you train with them and end up going against him, he’ll just use it as an excuse to beat you up a bit. He’s a lot more erratic on missions as well, his anger flaring up even faster than before.

His brothers eventually drag him over so you can actually talk to him. While the conversation is more yelling on his part, he eventually starts to simmer down. Still, he’s not the same as he was with you by any means. He refuses to let you back in that easily. That doesn’t mean he won’t let you work for it, though. He’ll let you start to pick back up the pieces of your relationship and start anew, making sure there’s no secrets this time.

It’ll take him a long time for him to let it go and start trusting you again, but in the end, he doesn’t want to lose you.

Donatello

Pretty similar to Raph in the beginning. He lashes out, openly questions and mocks your entire relationship in the heat of the moment. He’ll accuse you of still working with them, of being a spy and a traitor. Then, he’ll lock himself in his lab and try to focus on anything that isn’t you.

He doesn’t want to face the new reality of you not being what you said you were. He can’t help but replay your entire relationship in his head, dissecting every memory to try and figure out where you were genuine—or if you ever were.

He deliberately ignores you for a long time unless it’s something that was critical to talk to you about. When he does talk to you, it’s a lot more petty. Everything out of his mouth is sarcastic or borderline an insult.

His feeling of betrayal festers with him for a long while, up until he’s finally able to actually talk to you(i.e., interrogate you). He’ll finally let you speak and give him the reassurances he’s been needing this entire time. He’ll especially be ecstatic when he realizes how much information about the Foot Clan they can really get from you now.

Like with the rest of them, he’s not able to just let your lies wash away immediately. He’ll be a lot more suspicious of the things you do and what you’re planning. He doesn’t want anything like this to happen again.

Michelangelo

Mikey’s a bit more care-free with it. He doesn’t believe you at first and treats it like a joke. Not because he’s stupid, or because he’s not listening, but because he doesn’t want to believe it. You’re his best friend, the first person he’s ever felt this safe around. You coming out with this secret just breaks his perfect image of you.

He immediately tells everyone. He wants to make sure everyone else is aware, regardless of whether you claim you’ve already told them or not. That, and he can’t keep anything to himself to save his life.

Unlike the others, he still trusts you. Sure, not as much as before, he’s your ride or die until the end. He’ll fight his brothers on letting you stay and be your advocate while you work on fixing the trust with the rest of his family. He doesn’t care how long you hid it, or whether you quit the clan yesterday or 5 years ago. You’re still his best friend and partner.
