i just love the thought of teenage taylor sitting in nashville writing songs about romance and daydreaming about finding someone oblivious to the fact her future love was living his own life on the other side of the ocean. and then joe arriving in la and noticing a taylor song playing in the cab but at the time she was just a famous popstar to him. like the idea that there's all these moments someone could have come into your life but it wouldn't have been right. like the universe was saying "not yet". it's such a lovely thought that even through all the times you're heartbroken or lonely or lost the universe is just waiting for you both to be in the right place (literally and emotionally) to be like "here you go. here's your person."
