Inktober No. 24 - Working through the pain

John carried Rosie up the stairs to 221b, although she was getting way too tall to carry her around like this. The moment they stepped through the living room door, Sherlock was there to greet them.

Rosie tried to drag Sherlock towards them for a hug and thereby forced John to step a lot closer to keep his balance. When Rosie tightly grabbed Sherlock's shoulders and clung to him, Sherlock winced and John's gaze flew up to his face. Sherlock looked slightly green around the gills, which prompted John to carefully shift Rosie's weight to get it off his friend.

While Rosie started to excitedly tell Sherlock about her day, John whispered carefully, "What hurts?"

"Migraine," Sherlock huffed. "Started this morning."
