i keep saying this but . quadratum isn’t just an ‘afterlife’ it is unreality. sora messed up so bad breaking so many rules of nature he wasn’t allowed to be real anymore. literally got banished not just from his life but from reality itself. it bores me if we water down this concept into ‘place you go if you die’ (see: the 10 wildly different meanings of ‘death’ in this universe) because it’s so freaking coollll but yeah they better have a good explanation for every character who’s there to actually be there or i’ll be annoyed. what could these guys possibly have done that was on sora’s level i have to know

My suspicion is that except for Sora (who he knew would break the rules) they were all brought by the Master, because he said in UX that the world didn't have light or darkness and the trailer said by coming here they brought those concepts with them and so it's their fault these creatures are attacking. To me that means this isn't supposed to be an afterlife and that the master somehow handpicked them to appear in Quadratum to create light and darkness in that world. I don't think KHverse even has an afterlife except the Disney worlds like Hercules, I think they're supposed to immediately reincarnate, because we see in UX that Player's heart just melted down and transformed into a new one.
