Cw for abuse, panic attacks, mentions of SH, and language that sounds very SA-like but this has nothing to do with SA I promise
Janus used to restrain Virgil with all of his arms when Virgil did something he didn't like. It started as him doing it to stop Virgil from harming himself during panic attacks, but as their relationship got worse it escalated to him using all of his arms to restrain/pin Virgil for small offenses such as talking back and getting friendly with the Lights
For Virgil it got to the point where being restrained by Janus triggered panic attacks for him. He'd freak out whenever Janus touched him. Of course Janus thought he was being overdramatic and would try to talk him down in the worst ways "stop struggling, you're making it worse for yourself if you struggle, this will be over a lot sooner if you stop fighting me, etc" but of course saying it like that only freaked Virgil out more
Virgil would freak out so badly that even Remus hated seeing this happen and would interfere to get Janus to let go of Virgil. The way Virgil would freak out and the pain and fear in his screams once Janus inevitably muffled his voice to get him to shut up still haunts him a little
And also Virgil can't handle being touched on his arms/shoulders/back anymore because of this, he freaks out every time
Alright so who’s writing the fic where Janus offhandedly ends up like brushing his arm against Virgil or something and Virgil gets war flashbacks?

Does anyone remember the sea serpent/sea monster under the boardwalk at Wildwood? If you rode the log flume it took you under the boardwalk and there was a sea monster. That dude is the root of my fear/fascination of submechanophobia imagery.
That's diabolical. Have they changed the way the seats work by any chance? My cousins tried to escape when we were at the top one night and I had to all but pin them down so we wouldn't all die 🫠
