I’ll be hanging out with the kids in my family who celebrate the holiday tonight. Helping them set up for Santa, that sort of thing. In the meantime, we’ve got some old records playing. I’ll share a sample of them.

You settle in, grab a Coke or something, go get your obligatory bear hug from Harris, and I'll put your suitcases in there for you to deal with later. Flying always sucks. Maybe you're just feeling lousy from all that. I know I always do.

And, if you don't mind, I'd like to take a look at...what is it you use to access the Nexus? Portable computer? Mort was hoping you'd let me take a look at it, and see if you picked up a virus or trojan horse, or something. He's kinda worried.

Oh perfect, this room looks nice, I definitely need that hug and coke. Haven’t always been a big fan of flying, makes me feel strange afterwards. I really appreciate all your help too, I’ll have to repay you somehow.

Still, it's worth checking your computer. Might be something embedded in the BIOS or a stray line in a batch file that loads on bootup. You haven't seen any little multicolored smiley faces bouncing around on the screen have you? It's nothing major - just a cute little prank file - but sometimes the code from that one causes weird text glitches.

Well, everything's fine on the ground. But, if you run your programs out of Windows, maybe there's a corrupted DLL file.

[Well, this doesn't get me any closer to a comfortable answer. It's a sweet little machine, but he's right. There's not one thing wrong with it. Everything looks so neat and clean. He even defragged recently. Now, I'm even more concerned about him..... But, I don't want to alarm him. He's probably still in the early stages. Maybe it hasn't got hold of him just yet. There might be time still to get this thing off him before it can take over. And I.....am not the most qualified guy in the family for this.]

Well, I'm just going to close this program down and switch off your laptop, Norman. Giving this thing a clean bill of health. Great little machine you've got here. Zippy. Powerful. Agreed, I’m not exactly an expert on this kind of thing so something could be hidden deep within. It’s worth checking out for sure. No prank files either, I would’ve noticed. Weird though because everything is normal on my end, no colored text or anything, just the fact that everyday I keep feeling worse and worse, I don’t know why.

See what I mean? There’s no issue, everything is normal and the way it’s supposed to be. So what could be happening? Maybe all of you have a problem with your computers that’s showing my text is colored, no that’s too coincidental. Well… then I don’t know what to tell you.

Yes indeed, our old situation was getting… out of hand. I hope I can, is there any melatonin around here? That always helps me out. I’ll find some Advil too, for the headache.
