Otter bit her lower lip as she considered his comment. "What if..." She paused, not sure if he would at all be interested in the idea. "What if you put it on the edge of the farm? Right where it could be seen from the bus stop. I was already planning to have the house moved, or build a new one in the back corner of the land, for privacy, and because... well... just to be able to set up the crops better, honestly. So... what if we took down the bit of fence right there, opened it up to the path in front of the bus station, and built there? You wouldn't have to worry about as many bills, but it'd still be a good place, and it would be just out of the way enough that it would be quiet... I could plant the flower garden around it and build a little outdoor seating, even. If you want..." She shut up immediately, knowing she was trying just a little too hard. But... she thought it would work! And it would keep them close.

"yeah, yeah, of course. come on." leading @ofblackskies up the steps to his apartment. buzzing them both through, foggy took autumn to his front door, unlocking it and leading her inside. fumbling with the light switch, light flooded into the small apartment room he rented. it was small, but it was home, with his open plan living room cum kitchen, with two doors leading off to his bedroom and bathroom.

Autumn opened her mouth to reply... then closed it. How could she explain any of this to him? Sinking into the seat when he urged her to, the girl worried at her bottom lip. She didn't even understand why she was where she was - how was she supposed to give him those answers? Wetting her lips, she shook her head. "I don't know." She replied almost pathetically, clearly confused. "You know how sometimes you just get a gut feeling, and you know you have to listen to it?" Otter finally asked, cocking her head to the side. "It... was kind of like that. Except it wasn't my gut, exactly. It was..."

She sucked in a breath and shook her head. "I mean you know what happened. That... that I'm the only one left... I mean." Her tongue ran over her lips to wet them anxiously. "Something happened... during the whole... penthouse exploding thing. And I don't really know how to... explain it... but it's like... my brain is making connections that it undertands, but I don't... and I just... had to follow them. Here. To you."

"Okay, okay, fine, KP." Ron sighed dramatically. It was well known that he would do anything for Kim. Even if it had meant giving up his Naco in favor of some stupid, scary mission. Yeah, okay, Ron may not have been the bravest young man on the planet... but he always got over it so he could be her backup. Always. "Where are we going?" He asked finally, opening up the bag and taking out one of the Naco's to chomp on.

"Well, I'm cuter anyway, so you're in way better company now." Sage replied decidedly, linking arms with McKenna in a nonchalant sort of way. "We could try and piss him off. You wanna make out a little and see if he loses his mind?" The brunette teased, brows winging up playfully. It was always entertaining to make men sweat, and she never minded kissing a pretty girl. Plus, the tabloids would probably love it, honestly. Even if she wasn't usually a PDA kind of gal. Sage could make an exception in order to make a man cry.

A smile tugged at Rory's lips, and she nodded a little bit. "Thanks, Jess." She said softly, pushing some hair behind her ear. "What if we read it together?" Rory asked out of nowhere, head cocking to the side. "I read one chapter aloud, you read the next. Or we do a few each. Only read it when we're together. No cheating." Was it an excuse to spend more time with him? Maybe. But she'd never admit it.

"I'll do you one better." Belly decided with a little smile. "How about you just don't let me out of your arms at all?" It was better that way. "Unless you're going to the bathroom." She agreed with a laugh.

⠀⠀⠀⠀elijah lowered his gaze briefly albeit his tone remained composed. "perhaps not, yet i feel compelled to offer the apology nonetheless."

⠀⠀⠀⠀"your aunt was a remarkable woman." the statement came without hesitation. "curious, intelligent, and unfailingly polite. she possessed a genuine interest in the history of this town and its surrounding region. i found our conversations surprisingly enjoyable."

The wince came before she could stop it, the moment he mentioned Aunt Jenna. She knew her aunt was remarkable. She had become her everything in such a short amount of time - her and Jeremy - and now... she was gone. And Elena felt an immesurable amount of guilt. She knew she couldn't fix things, couldn't bring her back. It was just like when her parents died, and Elena had so many regrets. "Thank you." She said softly, rather than getting into all of that.

"I guess if I'm not used to it by now, I should get used to it fast, huh?" She found herself adding, a touch more edge to her tone. "Everyone I love dies these days. I can't stop it, clearly. If I do, some other big bad thing shows up and axes all my plans. It's just inevitable. Everything I love is either going to disappear or grow fangs, right?"

She didn't really want to accept her brother's help in any significant way. While she should have, she knew that their parents would look down on her for it. That was why she joked about him helping her cut down trees, instead. Dragging a hand through her hair, Autumn sighed at Elliot. "Okay... okay, fine." She said softly. "But if you're going to help me, you have to let me help you, too. So what do you need help with?"

“Ah, hello there.” Klaus stepped out into view with his hands pushed into the pockets of his jacket as his eyes lingered on the doppelganger. He forced the corners of his mouth from lifting too much, though it took a bit of restraint.

He had searched endlessly for this girl, followed every single whisper, the rumors, wild witch hunts, and now the planets had finally decided to align for him.

“Don’t mind me,” he drawled smoothly, glancing toward the book she had shut. “I’m actually here to do a bit of reading myself.”

It was a lie, obviously.

His eyes moved over the gravestones she leaned against before returning to her. How odd it was how every single one of them looked exactly the same. The same fire in their eyes. The same curve of their nose. The same flick on the corner of their mouths.

She might have been a bit on edge before he arrived, but seeing him was something else all together. He was pretty, that much Elena would admit, but he had an edge to him that made her feel like she was sitting on spikes. Cheeks pinking up a little bit, she looked up at him with the innocence of someone who had no idea of the Supernatural world beyond her scope. “My parents died recently.” Elena replied softly. “I’m just… spending time with them.”

Wetting her lips, she slipped her diary back into her bag. “I guess I miss them more than I should.” She admitted, voice soft as she pulled her knees up towards her body. “But family is important… and…” and it was her fault that they were dead.

Arlo laughed and shook his head all at once. "Seriously. I know there's a lot of people in the arts, but there definitely aren't enough people to be treating the ones they've got this way. Especially if they want actual talent and not just randoms who can kind of sing but not dance."
