Personal Art - Shiratori Isamu

Was debating to share or not but I guess here I go. Shiratori is a Yakuza OC of mine with a complicated background and very active still on going story. He is unrelated to the game franchise but his creation was influenced by my joy and excitement and love I had for the serie, which served as a muse.

He is from Nagoya from a smaller Family who doesn't treat him by his real value, keeping him on short leash blocking him from improve and to grow. Struggling with mental problems hard to connect socially and with people - but great on catching on with details with a photogenic memory. He works as a crime scene cleaner to cover up and temper with evidences for the alliance where his Family literally 'renting' him and his services to other Families in time of need. He does his work insanely well, which is what keeps him afloat as it gives him a value and value keeps him alive in this dangerous world of his crime syndicate.

He carries a title which plagues his interaction further with alliance members and haunting him as some bad omen; Onryo of Shirakawa. Surviving 2 near death events (one left his neck scarred permanently) others take him as one brings bad luck and death follows his foot steps. Unlikely engaging with him turning his social struggles even more intense. Yet he is very loyal to his duty and carries the Yakuza life with pride, as that's all what left for him and if nothing else he will push through, he wants to survive.

it just occured to me that i rarely post finished art of my ocs on this blog, i just dump them on my a03. So anyway here's a bunch of my Yakuza/RGG ocs, in some of my fav finished pieces!! Some are majorish charas, some are minor. They all appear in my Hurtcember 2024 series from part 4 onward (not all at once! they're intoduced gradually), but I didn't start illustrating the series until uhhh I think part 13 or 14.

The majority of them are Majima Family x I affectionately call them my majiboys! But some aren't, and they're affiliated to HQ.

This is NOT all of them btw ^^;;; Also all of these are their 2012 designs, because that's when the fic is set. On my pinned @ my main @tatteredgod you can see links to some oc pages which have their updated 2025 designs! *not finalised

some more Yakuza fandom ocs, Yashiro and Zenshiro =w=

formerly Nishikiyama men, now Majima men, they're ex-assassins who are known as the wolves/the wolf pack (though Zen-chan is more like a smug cat). They appear in my v long hurtcember 2024 series (not until part 9) and act as temporary bodyguards for Daigo. Yashiro is the team leader.

Yashiro's irezumi is a wolf, and Zenshiro's is a kasha (type of bake-neko)

Guide dedicated to @ohai-there bc they asked how I did that and I was like, "Oh it's super easy!! Let me show you." Then decided to make an actual fr guide to send them. Yippie!!

First, Draw your silly little guy. Once your done with the lineart, just trace it so you have two almost identical versions.

Second, Color them in! You can totally just color in one version then duplicate and touch it up to fit the second, but in this example I did both separately. It's up to you tho

Try to make them match as well as you can manage, but don't stress too hard— they'll end up looking naturally different anyways, just because it's almost impossible to replicate them to a perfect pixel.

Third, using literally any form of video editing software, line them up an even space apart to loop endlessly. Maybe add a background shape or color of you're feeling fancy

Export it as a GIF and there you have it, your own silly little wobbly guy to stare at lovingly!!

I would actually recommend using 3 frames, not 2, for a smoother wobble— I was just lazy w this example bc I'm making a bunch for art fight and am already tired. 3 is definitely preferred tho

I used clip studio paint for both the art and the animation, but you can use literally anything for either part of this tbh. If your video software doesn't have a good quality GIF conversion option, I recommend exporting it as a video then just using an online video to GIF converter
