Full Poem:

In the swamp, an orchid grew,

Amongst the muddled trust and muck,

A burden, brother, and a pest

Only to be plucked.

Climbing vines on kingdom walls,

The orchid soon did bloom.

But traitors sit on fences—

And he never took root.

Though, weeds are never gone for long.

Trailing uncut thread.

He'll grow under a same-new sky

When blue fades into red.

Nestled in the flower fields,

He finds he's not alone.

The sun, the moon and poppy call

to bring their orchid home.

In Bannerfall, an orchid grew,

1. Mage 4C, specifically dual-class rogue-mage 4C. I'd like him to be on Red, but thats REALLY wishful thinking and unlikely.

The second someone put forward Mage 4C as an idea I felt immeasurable greed. But like, I mean, 4C has gotten some preferencial treatment by the mage god. Besides that, I wouldn't be surprised if the Moonlit Swamp has some sort of magical properties. A bunch of witches live there, and the glow could not be solely bioluminescent because 4C seems to emphasize the moonlight more than the glowing mushrooms. Plus, the moon already seems to have some power in regards to Apo. It doesn't seem far fetched that Blue scapegoated 4C to investigate the swamp's unique, possibly magical qualities. So, maybe due to a changed environment, or divine intervention, 4C gets magic. As for how he gets on Red, idk man. I was just thinking logistically since Red is down a mage and possibly a rogue (if Kitty fully changes class), and Nom is on FIFTEEN HEARTS with a MACE. So like, they might need some extra help. Also I miss Stupideth Duo :(((

2. An animatic, cinematic or in-game cameo of a bounty hunter or one of 4C's family. I just want to see more of the Moonlit Swamp, 4C's family dynamics, and what kind of struggles brewed the mistrustful culture of his old home. A voice in an animatic or cinematic gameplay scene would be fun, but maybe one or two of them returning with 4C would be really cool. There are a few people I think could play them. Spidey and Schpood for one because they're DaD!4C's family. But I think a lifestealer would be very fitting because of how 4C described the Moonlit Swamp. For previous POW participants: Jojo and Reddoons. People who I think would fit are Zam, Squiddo, and Pili. Unlikely LSers who would be funny cameos would be Clown (bounty hunter), or Jaron.

3. 4C finishes the God conversation circuit and talks to Knight God.

According to Luanne's designs and Gracie's lore, the Knight God bears the weights of broken oaths and is the most forgiving of the three. We also know that for slimes, the cloak functions as a sort-of-oath. So, what if the Knight God talks to 4C about that? Would the God forgive him? Bear 4C's dagger in his back too? Hand him a new kind of cloak? Man, idk. I just think it would be funny if he caught the attention of all 3 gods of the classes.

4. Kinda connected to the last one, but 4C ascending to godhood to defeat the Creaking King if Nom ends up becoming the Creaking King.

This one is so far-fetched man. But like, it's weird that 4C knows Celestial, and two Gods are oddly attached. When offered a deal for Godhood, most characters turn it down in favour of the people they care about. While 4C still cares about everyone, he basically cut himself off from all his bonds because of mistrust and self-hatred. So, if he thinks he won't be missed if he's gone, while still wanting to care for everyone. l think he'd take the deal to protect his friends from afar. Either helping to save Nom at the expense of himself, or dedicating the rest of his existense to stopping the Creaking King, whoever it may be. So, 4C gets to try and "give back" some of Nom's humanity that he believes he took. Or, he spends the rest of eternity fighting his brother, but never fully losing him. Either way is probably a torturous existense for poor slime boy.

5. There is one or no kingdom(s) in the end, 4C leads the people.

Considering that everything looks like it's abt to implode and leave nothing... Probably not going to happen. But, one of the reasons 4C never wanted the crown was because the fighting/hierarchy aspect of the kingdoms was something he rejected. But, in this situation, both Kingdoms would either be destroyed, or they would combine. Either way, there would need to be a different perspective brought to lead. Considering that 4c is from outside both kingdoms of Bannerfall, was one of the creators of the Rue Bar's common grounds, was an advocate of peace, and was a bridge between (and "family" of) the now siblings-turned-opposing-monarchs, and is currently not affliliated with either Kingdom. Furthermore, one of the symbols most associated with 4C are alliums, which are purple (a mixture of red and blue), and are known as symbols of unity! It would sure be fitting, and it would be nice if all 3 siblings could rule i. some way. I think this would only happen in a happy ending, though. Which we don’t appear to be approaching.

So when 4c was pretending to be Katie's imaginary friend today, the sniffer died, then katie died and dropped her stuff for the umpteenth time that day. During that, 4c picked up her book on being a good monarch and wrote this for her to find

"I should have died in that swamp that day"

The Bannerfall streams kept me sane during exam season, 4C's characters are always so intriguing.
