I haven’t watched ashoka yet because I never watched the clone wars but I’m thinking of the obi wan Kenobi show and thinking about the fact that after years these two men still had a force bond connection strong enough to not only feel each others pain but WRITHER in each others pain, that even though Anakin Skywalker was buried deep beneath pain and manipulation he still came out to comfort Obi Wan, telling him “you didn’t kill Anakin Skywalker, I did.” And giving him the strength to let go of his grief and failure because he loved obi wan so much.
That because Anakin felt and loved padme and obi wan and his mother so much it became his downfall and yet it was also what brought him back to the light, that obi wan accepted him without qualms when he entered Jedi heaven.
How anakin was always the chosen one and how he could never fulfill his prophecy because the very thing that would have saved them all the Jedi counsel destoryed.

One of my dearest and most long-held obianidala headcanons is simply this; that Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala are absolutely feral about Obi Wan Kenobi.
Think this through. On their own, Anakin and Padme are the impulsive, not-so-closeted-romantic, all-in, ride-or-die, obsessed-beyond-the-point-of-mental-stability type. They are not the most rational people when it comes to matters of love - Padme is a little more lowkey about it, but she is just as bad as Anakin - she had a full on gown prepared for their secret only-attended-by-droids wedding. Unhinged behaviour.
So all that energy, times two, directed at Obi Wan, who frankly does not value himself enough? (read: at all)
