Welcome back to the House of Dadneto- 2026 edition!
After a much anticipated wait, we are beyond excited to announce that the House of Dadneto has returned for another year of Magnet Family chaos! Thank you all so much for your patience as we prepared this year's event, your support has meant the world to us 💛 Last year you blew us out of the water with how many submissions were made and we can't wait to see what you have in store for this June! ✨
The House of Dadneto is a month-long fan creation challenge with a focus on Magneto and his (many) children! The event runs throughout the entirely of June 2026, and includes 15 main prompts and 15 alternate prompts. You can check out the whole list of prompts here!
All fanwork mediums are welcome (fics, art, animations, edits etc.) and you can complete as many or as few prompts as you would like, though there are prizes for those who complete either 15 or 30 prompts by the end of the month! Check out the rules here for information on how to participate, how to qualify for prizes, and any other questions you might have!

The House of Dadneto 2026 has hit the ground running! ✨

Just watched the Mandalorian and Grogu and the finale of The Amazing Digital Circus in cinemas and damn you really can’t trust reviews or fans because that shit was PEAK!

This animatic was inspired by an interview with Evan Peters where he said he wanted to see Quicksilver go bad and join his father, but I didn't believe that the version of Quicksilver we see in the movie was capable of that. So, I set out to find out how far movie Pietro would need to be pushed to join Erik, and what that would mean for them both if he did. As you can see, it didn't turn out well haha!
And on another level, this animatic was also meant to be a sort of sweet revenge for all the Pietro variants that got messed up by terrible Mag variants in the multiverse 😫 (Promise my next contributions will be happier... maybe... 😏)
my favorite thing about House of Dadneto is opening up ao3 on the first day and getting body slammed by the most emotionally devastating fics, only to open tumblr and get gobsmacked by even more emotionally devastating gif sets and art. and I eat it up actually
