Does anyone know why they made it so Peter Parker was living with specifically his aunt and uncle? Like why not a grandparent or something, especially with how old Uncle Ben and Aunt May are originally in the comics. How does one have parents in their 30’s and an aunt and uncle in their 60’s-70’s?
Like you could come up with an explanation if they didn’t specify that Ben Parker is the brother of Peter’s dad. I realize that Lee and Ditko probably just reused a previous character type and naming convention as was fairly common back then but someone brought up the question and I can’t stop wondering if there’s a different answer
