O: Sorry. Congrats on the job

Finn: Are you going to Wren/Nathalie's wedding?

Finn: I have no idea why I never asked you before.

Finn: I'm the best man.

Finn: Want to be my +1?

O: I never got a formal invite so I wasn't planning on it.

Monty: I guess, but that's just another thing on the list of reasons the city isn't exactly my favorite place in the world.

Monty: Which speaking of honesty, I thought it'd be better if you heard it from me, but I'm working with Buffy on a charity event.

What was the timeline on grief and, more importantly, confusion. Bishop was confused. Confused on whether he even loved the girl or whether he actually hated her and it was all just a game. The fact was that he couldn’t shake that it wasn’t all just a game to Celia, nor could he shake the betrayal of his best friend. Ophelia was one of the people he trusted – the list had dwindled over the years. Her words of warning rang in his ears, echoed over years of conversation and the lilt in her voice stuck with him. Brunch, their tradition, had never been canceled, just moved to a different place. Quieter, a private club with no one to overhear and no one to watch. “So, everything is fucked up. I think some relationships I can’t move past what happened.”

It was no secret that O hated Celia. And even after her death she tried to avoid any and all conversations regarding her step-monster --- mostly because she had been raised not to speak ill of the dead, and she really didn’t think she could help herself. But as much as she hated Celia, she cared about Bishop equally as much. And it was obvious he was working through something when it came to all the ins and out of the relationship that they had. “You wanna talk about it?

Monty: Yeah it is. Plus I really hated lying to everyone.

Tate could barely focus with everything that was circulating in their mind.  Quinn choosing cocaine over them, Monty going to a business meeting with his ex, and just feeling generally upset because nothing seemed to be going the way that they wanted it to which brought Tate to O’s doorstep holding a 1.5 litre bottle of Pinot Grigio in their hand.  Tate had already helped their self to a bottle at home, but didn’t see the point in stopping now.  Plus, Tate needed a friend right now.  More than ever.  Tate opened the door for O’s penthouse and called out their name as they entered, pulling off their coat.  “I have wine.  If you don’t hurry, I’m going to drink it myself.”

The doorman had called up to let O know that Tate was there, so she wasn’t surprised when she heard the door open followed by Tate’s voice. “Go ahead, I’ve got my own,” O countered, meeting Tate in the entry way. She held up her own large bottle, giving it a little shake for emphasis. “You want a glass or is it a straight from the bottle kind of night?” 

Monty: Pretty much.

Monty: Thanks. It's actually kind of a relief to be honest.

Monty: I'm dating Tate.

Monty: I've always been dating Tate.

Monty: Senator Archibald kind of strong-armed me into fake dating Quinn to help his reputation, and then was paying me for it.

Monty: And I didn't exactly get a choice in the matter because anything I tried to do to get out of it didn't really work.

O: Oh, okay. Do what you gotta do, I guess?

Tate: okay anyways

Tate: the last month of my life has been hell and I could really use my favourite drinking partner right now

Tate: you down for some drinks?

O: Always. Come over? Chessie moved out and King isn't home.

Monty: Why do you ask????

O: Cause according to you and Quinn and everyone else, you're dating. But Tate just posted a selfie on instagram of the two of you getting super cozy.

Tate: I guess we both just have good instincts. ;)

Tate: you were right the whole time

O: So… are you dating Tate or Quinn?

O: Or both in an open relationship?
