Ep5 Rukia says "you're the brawn and I'm the brains"

Must say the intro song is a banger (it's this song fwiw)

I mean the concept seems cool enough, but you think Rukia would wait so Ichigo could see properly what it does before just fucking off and leaving it to it.

Would have saved so much - ok could have let it run off as part of it and kept the Urahara and co sections too, it'd make so much more sense that way.

I know it's a plot device but you'd think they'd at least put something like that out of the way of a literal child who may misread the kanji (I'm aware of the different meanings of a singular kanji at least)

And I get why Ichigo is upset. As a teen, you cultivate this persona and something like Kon can ruin it almost instantly.

I wonder how many of his friends, until they find out what's going on, wonder if he's having some kind of MH break with the switching personalities and missing school

I do appreciate the dead body gag right before finding the stuffie

So we were at a restaurant once and my mom started interpreting for someone who was trying to order and she was like “oh you’re from the south!”

And they were like “how did you know that?”

Abusive girls exist and what they’re doing is seen as like “badass tough don’t take no shit” but your girl should not hit you. Ever.

She should not demand for you to hand over your phone to look through.

She should not yell at you and humiliate you either alone or in front of people.

She shouldn’t make you distance yourself from your friends or family.

She shouldn’t scratch you or twist your arms.

She should not call you names.

She shouldn’t tell you ‘she’ll kill herself if you break up’

These are just a few examples of abuse and it’s just seen as okay when girls do it and god knows I’ve fallen victim to it a few times, but you shouldn’t have to.

Never worry about not being in a relationship. If they’re worth it, they won’t hurt you.

This cover was from a new artist. While I would have wanted to work with the same artist as before, they had moved on to a full time job that did not allow them time for commissions. Such is the life of an artist and I do not begrudge them having to deal with the rest of the world to survive.

I did not purchase additional art from this artist. I took my own advice and liked what I saw from their portfolio, therefore, I hired them to create something for me.

This art is not a direct scene from the book, and is more of a composition of elements. The tower is an important part of the story. And two of the main characters, Siv and Kyna, are looking down for the first time at the tower. There would have been a lot more people with them if this was from a scene in the book.

There is an element of this cover that I wish I would have stressed to be more elusive or vague. That is the 'dragon' on the left. They are basically never seen in the book and is supposed to be an element of danger that is coming soon. I may attempt something again like this but have it more translucent. I want people to miss it. I want people to not see that it's there. At least at first glance. I want a surprise for people to find.

This is the ebook cover. Or rather, the updated ebook cover. The original cover was just the right hand side of the paperback. The next book is where I found I could have a larger image for the ebooks and went back and changed the covers that I could.

ah, yes
