Hello everyone! So I have some unfortunate news. Two rounds of it, actually.
As I am sure that you have all been awaiting the release of Nocturne SMP (as have I), if you have been keeping up with it you know that I hired someone to help modify the POW plugin so it could not be cheesed by people familiar with the plugin.
Unfortunately, while the plugin functioned perfectly well for a short amount of time, after installing it on the server it corrupted some files, and while I've been attempting to work with both the coder of the plugin and the server host I'm using, it looks like a lot of the custom work I've done for the server has been lost, and we will be set back quite a lot. An enormous amount, actually. Almost 60 hours of building and tweaking the custom map, alongside aspects of the code being corrupted and needing to be-redone, etc... it has been rough.
I myself am going through some dire straits financially and have been stuck at my family's home instead of my apartment because of that, so I will be postponing Nocturne indefinitely until I have the money and the time to afford re-doing everything again.
I deeply apologize for the inconvenience. I really did attempt to get the work done before summer so people could enjoy it, but that is nigh impossible at this point 😅😓 anyone who gave me financial support to run Nocturne, please contact me so I can get you your money back! Do not let me take your money!!
As well as for this blog as a whole: I am going on a semi-permanent hiatus. I've found I've attracted some company I don't quite like to keep while running this blog, and while I am endlessly thankful for my mutuals and followers and will not be deactivating nor permanently abandoning it, I have moved elsewhere for now. The new blog is intended to be much more personal to me, though I am kind of falling into the same habits I kept with this blog, so I might return to this blog as a sort of fanart archive of sorts, or revamp it to be more Hermitcraft/Life Series focused while keeping any other content secluded to the new one. If you want to know the blog name to follow, please DM me here and I will make sure to check on the blog in the next few days and try and get back to people.
All contact with me will not be lost as soon I'd like to set up a Discord server to keep some of the community I've gathered here (especially those that have been following Nocturne so they can continue communicating with me until I am ready to begin the project again). The Discord server will include game nights with other people (Among Us, Gartic Phone, Peak, etc) and a Minecraft server of it's own (nothing special like Nocturne- just a normal modded server run on a cheap or free server host when I can afford it, haha), so if that is something you are interested in, make sure to keep a look out.

A character of color is morally ambiguous or a villain, gets redemption arc. "They're awful and haven't been condemned enough of their crimes". Stans [insert white characters] who did the exact same crimes or was a villain who's redemption arc is praised.
"Can't believe that character of color had the nerve not to die as a selfless sacrifice for [insert white character]".
"POC actress/actor is too ethnic and they'd ruin the character".
"I haven't seen racism in the fandom therefore it isn't there".
