Wow. A soccer ball to the face shouldn’t hurt as much as it just did and yet here he stands, initially minding his own business when fate had chosen him as the target of some girl’s mighty kick. He can’t tell if the attack had been intentional or not but he’s not going to let it go easily. He picks up the ball that has rolled down next to him and hands it to his likely assailant.
❝How about you watch where you’re kicking this thing? You could have broken my nose.❞
Someone wasn’t holding back today and that girl was Misako. As a former captain of a sports team and active player of soccer, this was a natural way to entertain herself. However, she had prepared her kicks to be both efficient at fighting and playing to the utmost and ridiculous capacities. She had not considered any bystanders in her training and when one showed up, she is met with an equal natural answer to be assaulted by a ball.
Misako took the soccer ball in her hands, throwing it up and down as she spoke.
“Have you considered having a stronger nose?”
Not a very logical proposition.
“A couple of hits on the face should make you sturdy, wanna try?”
chaosmagecraft:
Flat looked up in surprise. Back at the Clock Tower, people rarely (if ever) bothered to help him. They either didn’t want to get close, or they thought he should deal with his own problems. Flat understood and didn’t blame them, but it made him exceedingly grateful that she was willing to help.
“Wow! Thank you, miss! I wasn’t paying attention at all. I got really wrapped up in my- BOOK!” Oh no! He had to rescue his books! He scrambled through the pile, trying to get his hands on the things he’d dropped.
This boy had his priorities set straight, didn’t he?
“Alright, let’s save your books.” So it was time to pick them up, huh? Misako wasn’t very good at smarty stuff, not a very committed student but she was very capable of respecting bookworms. She supposed some brains were wired differently.
Crouching down, she began picking some of the books one by one. They had some dust over but nothing a good shake couldn’t handle.
“What were you reading? Must have been entertaining if you were so distracted.”

What a way to insult Misako. Yes, that was likely not his intention and she knew him fairly well to understand from where he was coming from but she couldn’t stand it. What kind of stupid way to be considerate was this? It hurt more than the break-up and that’s saying a lot. An incredulous look sets on his facial features, eyebrow raising as if expecting further addition to his comment.
“That’s very nice of you, Kunio. Have you grown softer in just a couple of weeks?”
She wasn’t one to dwell more than needed. If he was going to stand still with his fists up, cautious on where to land a hit then she would force him to return a worthwhile punch! Rearing back her left arm, Misako unleashes a straight punch toward his gut.
This crap was getting on her nerves!
“Don’t be an idiot and quit holding back! If you have any respect for me, you’ll let your fists talk properly!”

“Come on, then! Hit me!”
“Your stance is all wrong.”
“Am I doing this right?”
“I feel like I’ve been chewed up, spat out, and run over repeatedly.”
“Get down and give me 20!”
“How many miles/kilometers are we running?!”
“Hey! Watch where you’re swinging that!”
“Nice punch! Now do it again!”
“You won’t hurt me, I promise.”
“My grip feels off…”
“Have you ever used a(n) __ before?”
“I don’t want to hurt you…”
“I think I’m going to feel that tomorrow.”
“If you can lift me up, then you can lift these weights just fine.”
“On a scale of one to ten, how much did that hurt?”
“Here, you put your feet like this…”
“Relax. I’m trying to help.”
“Can you teach me how to __?”
“God, we stink.”
“Are you doing okay?”
“Are you alright?”
“If I do fifteen push-ups, can I be done for the day?”
“Come on! Another round!”
“You can win this time!”
“Work your angle a little more and you got it perfect!”
“What are you doing up at this hour?”
“Where did you get that bruise?”
“Hey, no, stop. You’re going to break your fingers punching like that.”

“『Tough people usually wear the really cute ones. That’s what all the manga I read say. Are they pink and frilly?!』”
Alright, that’s it.
No one in this world has any right to speak of her underwear. A good kick should teach him a lesson! No wonder he has no friends!
“Not even Kunio asked me THAT....”
misterallfiction:
“『You know, the funny part is.. You’re the one who’s spoken the most sense thus far. It really isn’t that deep! And that’s what the problem is. Also, what color are your panties–』”
She is about to reply, ready to shrug off whatever idiocy he is saying but now--
“WHAT!?”
misterallfiction:
“『I don’t! And the fact that I can say that as a matter of fact means I’m not living in the same delusion most of you fakers are!』”
“What’s so fake about me? I’m pretty real, not sure what you’re on about. You need to chill, dude. It’s not that deep.”
misterallfiction:
“『All these friendsimps who think their bonds have any actual meaning. I wish I could be that carefree.』”
“Just say you got no friends and go. Weirdo.”

tokeiso:
“Is that normal?” Passion asked sincerely. Slammed into walls and pillars and concrete before, none of her team had ever apologized to the part of their body that took the brunt of it. She wondered if it was meant to help, but with how quickly she’d recover, it was unnecessary.
“I don’t need it anyway. I’ll feel better in a few minutes. I’m quite durable like this, you know.” She smiled at the girl, both proud of it and reaching to make sure the girl wasn’t too worried. From the reaction, though, she was probably aware of more people that could survive falling off a building.
Or just very, mostly admirably chill.
As Passion smoothed out her dress and straightened her shoulders, she asked, “Do you have some tough friends yourself?”
“If it hurts in the morning, it might be best to apologise. I even felt it.” Anyone within a mile probably heard too. At least no building came crashing down too, which makes it even more painful. Misako smiled at the fact the pink-haired girl was so calm about, was it a constant in her life? Or where her bones made of titanium?!
“Woah, so magical girls are that strong? I’ve hit people with a wand but I bet nothing compares to the real deal.” This wasn’t common back home but was she about to question it? Not in the slightest! She was pretty comfortable with accepting that magical girls were real and made of a resistant material. Kyoko might get excited if she ever tells her about this.
“Yeah! I got a couple of ones, my ex even threw fire off his fists.” That’s also not normal. “I’m pretty tough myself too. Just nothing out of the extraordinary, just a good ol’ kick and fist.”

Flat Escardos was not an idiot, but he was an airhead. He’d just emerged from the bookstore with a bag full to bursting with classic literature and game guides, humming as he went.
There was construction not far down the road. He’d stopped a moment on his way there to admire the trucks and cranes, but now his attention was completely fixed on The Vicomte of Bragelonne. Nose in a book, he did not notice the cones and signs until he’d already tripped into the construction zone and landed face-first in a pile of gravel. His ensuing shout of surprise echoed down the street, drawing attention from all sides.
That looked like it hurt. Misako winced back at the monumental fall, along the several books clashing right on the ground. Ouch, ouch. She could stare or actually do something, compared to the many people watching that looked away in embarrassment. Well, wouldn’t help to hurt a doofus.
Walking closer, she offered a hand.
“For a second I thought you had eyes on your back, seems I was wrong.”
moveextras:
“Come to think of it, I need to find some damn work around here for cash. Or go and break another one of the dwarf’s windows “accidentally”—-”
“Just take the money from the people you beat up, it’s a normal system.” It really isn’t!
sparklyarcher:
☆ “haah? you think strong dudes don’t like girls that are soft ‘n’ cute too? kinda misguided!” well actually she didn’t really know what modern guys liked. but she wasn’t exactly trying to woo any men either. “i think tough girls can also be cuties! i mean i think you’re totes cute already!”
“T-that’s not what I meant!” For example, Kyoko was super cute and super strong! Just not her, Misako did not consider herself cute at all. Amazing, strong, cool and smart worked as ways to describe her but cute? No way! And for another cute girl to call her cute? This was embarrassing. “My best friend is that type of girl, you got it all wrong. It doesn’t suit me.”
i may not have any braincells, but i make up for it by having many heartcells
