That went about as well as it could have. Better, really. He'd dealt with worse for his ill-timed attempts at harming others during his time here. Though, considering her dislike for him, there was a chance that that might have been on purpose. After all, it was usually pretty obvious when he was looking to push someone's buttons and she'd grown to show less and less frustration the longer she'd been exposed to him back in the day.
Or, maybe he was just losing his touch. Not trying hard enough. Either or.
