at the risk of further ridicule i'm taking the opportunity to say that it really fucking sucks not to be able to watch almost any content at all about starfield because the grand majority is just people shitting on it. i get that public opinion is public opinion but the hatred is insanely disproportionate for a game that's mediocre at worst.

there are people who will lose respect for me solely for talking about how much i love this game, it's happened before and it will happen again. i am not trying to win the idgaf war. i will never sit here and act like it isn't a flawed game, it is, very much so. i'm also not going to play macho and pretend that i don't care and that it doesn't hurt, because i do and it does. we all have things that we dislike vehemently, but at this point it's become less about preference and more about a refusal to entertain the idea that starfield might actually be worth something to a number of people. it is tiring
