I promise this will be the last non-request post for a while.

I had a hell of a time getting my request list back in order. Turns out I answered a good handful of them and never removed them from the list so the numbers between my inbox/drafts weren't matching what I had posted to be written.

But I did it! And I will be updating that post, my rules, my about, and maybe revamping the tags over time.

For the record, I do NOT plan to make those posts their own actual posts, but rather into pages. I might- might- also toy around with the theme some since it has been the same one for years now.

The old cot had never looked so inviting as it did when Lone stumbled back into the camp, their eyes heavy and their feet gently guided by the super mutant that they were honored to call their friend.

“Just a little further,” Fawkes assured. Lone only hummed in response, their eyes already growing heavy with the very thought of finally getting to lay their head down on the make-shift pillow.

“I really appreciate you, you know.”

“And I appreciate you, my friend.”

“I’m glad,” Lone said on a yawn, moaning softly as they found themselves being guided into sitting on the edge of the cot, not even bothered by the thick, hard wood poles that held it taut on the sides. “I’m glad that we met.”

“Not as grateful as I am, I’m sure,” Fawkes replied with a soft chuckle. “Now please, lay back.”

“Hmm. My boots.” “I will remove them for you.”

Lone hummed again as they did as instructed, feeling sleep already starting to wash over them in waves. It didn’t take over quite yet, especially as they felt their boots being yanked off their feet, but it was getting close.

“Hey, Fawkes?”

“Yes, my friend?”

“Can you stay in here with me? Just until I fall asleep?”

“Of course.”

“Thanks.”

“Of course, my friend.”

Lone sighed and turned onto their side, their eyes heavy but still opened as they watched their friend settle down onto the ground nearby, his broad face thoughtful as he looked towards the much smaller human near him.

“It’s hard being alone, isn’t it?” Fawkes asked. Lone, unable to find their voice, nodded. “I am glad that you know you can ask me to stay.”

“I’m glad, too,” Lone answered, their voice sounding filled with sleep even to their own ears. As the seconds ticked past, their eyes grew heavier, and eventually they closed and their mind started to drift.

“A blanket,” Fawkes said thoughtfully and mostly to himself after a moment. Lone just raised their brows and listened. There was some shuffling, then some more soft and unintelligible whispers. And finally, something laid out onto them.

A blanket, they realized as they felt the fabric being tucked around them. That’s what he meant by that.

And once more, Lone felt their mind start to drift as sleep began to take over. Yet before they could dream, they heard Fawkes say just one last thing.

I know I told you to cancel one of the requests I made recently but that was mostly because I thoughts the points I’ve made were rushed and it kind of felt over-dramatic. I’ve just re-worked on the points today and I think they’re much better than the ones I made previously and I think they’re pretty good, so here it goes:

- This started when he remembered some snide comment she made about him the first time he came. At first, it wasn’t too bad but as the days went by, it just kept getting worse.

- He didn’t mind too much at first but later on, this led him to assume that she’s just lying to him, prentending to love him so he can do her own doing and deep down hate him. He also thought that she was going to backstab him at some point.

- Although he still loves her to a certain extent, he started developping a grudge againt her, ranging from hate to jealousy. He also started getting jealous of all the praise she seems to get among the disciples, making him feel completely rejected from the gang.

- It’s after 6 weeks that he finally snapped and that he decided to confront Dixie about it. When confronting, he accused her of being a liar and faking the love she has for him and actually hating him. He also told her that he was done working for her gangs as well as the other and that he’s leaving Nuka-World for one and for good, angrily and hoping the place would burn.

- Before leaving Nuka-World, he told her that he would have killed her but the only he didn’t he’s because he can’t bear killing her. Although he’s as every bit as psychotic and cold-blooded as Dixie, he still had a few people he genuinely cared about in his life, including her and his deceased spouse.

- He’s now spending his days at Dugout Inn, drinking to forget whatever happened out there and the past relationship. After all, he had a lot of fun with her, she was his soulsister to him and he just felt betrayed after making the conclusion that she actually hated him. As hard as he tries to forget about her, she still pops up in his mind.

I’d like to change the title for M!Overboss and Dixie’s relationship dilemma.

How would she react after hearing everything M!Overboss said to her before leaving the place "for good"? What would she do after that? And what would she do should she find him?

Dixie would be pretty taken aback by all of it. She had noticed there were some kind of feelings between them, but she never would have thought that it was love. To hear him say that gave her a little hope, but hearing that he would kill her just as easily as let her live was enough to shatter whatever fragile dream she had of a life together with him.

For the first while, she tries to forget him. Unable to do that, she tries to make herself angry with him. He had said some rather cruel things before leaving, after all. But she finds, oddly, that her anger is constantly redirecting back towards herself. It’s not until this anger becomes a distraction and one of her prized would-be kills nearly got away that she decided she needed to do something.

She wouldn’t bother Nisha with her problem. Not only would Nisha not be any help, she would likely tell her to drop it altogether, and Dixie would. But she didn’t want to. She wanted to track down the Overboss and confront him.

She found him eventually, drinking his life away in Diamond City among the others who only pretended to keep their eyes on their own glasses and bottles as she strolled in ready to finally find a way to redirect her anger where she felt it needed to be. But everything she wanted to say was lost as she saw the look in his eyes. He was broken more than she could ever do to him herself.

In the end, she talks him into coming back with her. She isn’t even sure how she did it herself, but by the end of the night they are making their way back to Nuka-World where he steps back into his role as leader, but now with Dixie firmly at his side.

How would the Fallout 4 companions, including dlc, Nuka-World bosses, Scribe Haylen, and Debby from the Last Plank react to/comfort a Sole Survivor who gets sad from broken family scenarios?

Broken family as in: The Miller family radio signal, Boston Mayoral shelter, Cranberry island and what happened there, and so on…

Cait

Cait’s reaction varies, based on what happened. If there is evidence of parents doing the best they can for their children, she will likely get very angry. Not at the loss of life, or at the way the family died or broke, but at how she never had a chance to know even a fraction of that kind of love from her parents and yet she was forced to suffer through it until they sold her. But this moment isn’t meant to be about her. This moment is about Sole, and how they can and have offered her that kind of love, and now it’s her chance to return it in the form of soft words and whatever else they need.

Codsworth

All Codsworth can do is be nearby, ready with a sympathetic audio input unit, snacks and jokes- both slightly dirty and family friendly. He understands how Sole must feel seeing or hearing about the families that were torn apart by war, and while he might not be able to hold them he really hopes that his presence will still be enough.

Curie (Post-Emergent Behavior)

Curie understands tragedy more than people think she does. She spent two centuries of her “life” in a room filled with the same people every day, and she watched as they passed one-by-one until she was the only one left. She kept her processors sharp, however, by making up little stories about them and how their lives would have gone if things had been different. This is a trick she will attempt to use with Sole, in hopes of bringing a smile to their face eventually.

Danse (Pre And Post-Blind Betrayal)

Danse is likely to miss the part where Sole is in obvious need of comfort at first, but not because he wants to be mean. He is simply caught up in his own feelings about the wars and tragedies that tore so many families apart that he fails to notice, at first, that it’s affecting Sole in a different way. Once he notices, he will feel rather ashamed to have allowed his anger to stop him from helping his friend first.

Deacon

Deacon would sit quietly with Sole as they let the feelings roll until they feel ready to talk, and he won’t be giving them any choice but to talk about it. It’s obvious that it’s something more than just an upsetting scenario that has them in tears, and whether it’s for his own curiosity or to make sure he can help them later is up for debate, but either way he is respectful but persistent in getting them to talk.

Dogmeat

Dogmeat does what Dogmeat does best: he offers comfort. Comfort might come in the form of cuddles and kisses, or it might be Sole finding his favorite teddy bear dropped into their lap mid-sob. There really isn’t much else that he can do for them, so whatever he can do you can bet he is giving his all.

Hancock

Hancock would be just as upset about it all as Sole is, but he hides it better, too. After all, there’s no need for both of them being upset. He will offer them comfort and take some for himself without letting on that that is exactly what he is doing. If he somehow got caught out, or if Sole felt the need to apologize for showing emotion he might let on that he completely understands their pain. Until that moment, however, he will just be there for them as they work through their emotions in a safe space.

MacCready

MacCready is angry, but not for the same reason as Cait. His anger comes from knowing that he is technically part of a broken family. A couple of them perhaps, given what little he remembers of his life before Little Lamplight. He is angry because seeing Sole break down and become nearly inconsolable was all the proof he needed that his story was indeed a tragic one. Basically, he finds himself stuck on the anger part of grieving, but in helping Sole understand that not all the stories had to have an unhappy ending, he might be able to work through the rest of the steps as well.

Nick Valentine

Nick would do his best to casually recount some of his old cases that actually had happy endings. Not all of them will be relevant to what Sole is upset about, but a good few of them, such as stopping an attempted abduction and being asked to be a godfather of at least one child, will hopefully bring a smile and a bit of hope back to Sole.

Piper Wright

All Piper can do is offer Sole some words of comfort and a shoulder to lean on. If the two are in a relationship already, she might be a bit more intimate in her comfort, but if they aren’t then she will only go as far as they are comfortable going with her.

Preston Garvey

Preston feels the hurt as well, but he can push it all aside when it comes to caring for Sole. He can offer them a shoulder to cry on, an ear to talk into, and advice on how to push it all aside when the time comes to move on.

Strong

Strong doesn’t understand why Sole is upset until it’s put into the context of his brothers: Even if he didn’t know them personally, he almost certainly feels some kind of hurt when he sees them dead but then he remembers that it was their own fault for dying. They should have been stronger, they should have been smarter, they should have had a better leader. Strong stops himself just short of bringing this all up to an already distraught Sole, and just lets them grieve for people they had never even met.

X6-88

X6-88 isn’t sure how to comfort Sole, but he will do his best to learn based on how they choose to comfort others. If they are into physical touch such as hugs or, preferably, hand tap, he will offer them the same. If they’re comfort language seems to be words of sympathy, then that is what he will give them. In the chance that he isn't sure how they prefer to comfort others, he will calmly tell them that what they feel is a good thing as it shows that they still have their humanity.

Ada

Ada has seen first hand how affected Sole can be by that kind of situation, and she is glad that her sympathy and empathy components are still working. She is not made of flesh and blood, but metal and plastic, yet she will do her best to offer physical comfort as well 

Old Longfellow

Old Longfellow offers his comfort in the form of a respectful silence and a shared bottle. If Sole wants to talk about what all is upsetting them, he will listen. But if they want to wait and see how long it takes them to reach the bottom of the bottle together, he is fine with that, too.

Porter Gage

Gage doesn’t get it. It was centuries ago in some cases, and here the Overboss is bawling their eyes out over it. He is not saying that the Overboss shouldn’t feel any kind of compassion for anyone- that’s just one of the many things about Nisha that scares the Hell out of him- but he thinks that perhaps they should hold off on showing so much emotion until it can be just the two of them.

Mags

Mags is almost disgusted by it. Or so she tells herself. One must take into consideration the life that she had lived before forming the Operators and how that may have shaped her opinion on how important such families are. She has William and Lizzie, her brother and her best friend, what more does she need in that aspect? Why is it so hard for her to get the Overboss’ tears over the stories of families long gone out of her mind? Perhaps talking about it for just a little while wouldn’t hurt after all?

Mason

Mason gets it. He really does. But he also knows that such things should be dealt with privately. Tears are a sign of weakness, and being weak makes you prey. But at the same time, you shouldn’t hold it all in. The more you hold it back, the more likely it is to burst later, and usually at the most inopportune time. He would tell them to leave, get themselves together, then come back to the pack to talk to him later, unless perhaps they wanted to go somewhere more alone with him for a while?

Nisha

Nisha would find the tears and sorrows useless and even pathetic, but she would also understand where the Overboss is coming from. Families get broken and lives are lost, but the survivors must do what they have to do to move on and continue living or risk joining the others. She won’t say this in such harsh words to the Overboss, especially if they already seem particularly upset, but she will hint that she used to feel that way herself and that once she was able to turn that part of herself off she did a lot better.

Scribe Haylen

Scribe Haylen would pull Sole aside, no matter if they were taking a break on the field or hanging out elsewhere, to make sure they have a moment to get it all out at once. Haylen will admit that the stories still get to her even after that time of hearing them, but she takes personal comfort in knowing that even if they aren’t already together yet, they will be soon in one way or another. She hopes that Sole can see it that way as well, and that it will bring her some comfort in the end.

Debby (Far Harbor)

Nisha

“That word is completely fictional.” Nisha appreciates the sentiment, but she doesn’t believe in love, platonically or romantically. She believe in devotion and obedience, however, so if the Overboss were to express one of those two, she would be much more appreciative.

Dixie

“Y’ know, actions are a lot louder than words Overboss.” Like Nisha, Dixie appreciates that the Overboss took the time to say it, but she wishes they would have shown it instead. Especially in the form of new territories where she might continue to lure unsuspecting settlers to sharpen her skills, so to speak.

Savoy

“Why?” Savoy doesn’t feel as if he has really earned the right to be told that. Nor does he know how to react to being told that. He just keeps himself stone-faced and quiet until the Overboss leaves, and he can work out exactly what they meant by it.

Mags

“I— Thank you?” Mags is honestly a bit startled by it. She hadn’t thought that she was really close enough to the Overboss for them to say such a thing to her, but she appreciates it. A lot. And the more she thinks on it, the more she wonders if perhaps she should find a way to say it back.

William

“....” William has nothing to say. He might give a small smile that he hides behind his beard, glass or hand, but he won’t say anything. Honestly, so long as the Overboss had been taking care of the Operators, he has been finding it a little harder to deny that he was certainly starting to feel something towards the Overbss himself.

Lizzie

“And what brought all this on?” Lizzie is amused by it, and while she would never really admit it outloud, she is a full romantic at heart. Unfortunately her first true love is science, and all other affections must come second to her research. Give it time, however, and she might find a way to return the sentiment.

Mason

Rose of Sharon Cassidy

Cass knows a bit of Spanish herself, but not enough to really carry on a full conversation unless its haggling price or asking where the nearest safe place to rest is. Communication between Cass and the Courier will be mostly the two passing a bottle back and forth, pointing and laughing at things that are funny even without a language, and just sitting around enjoying each other's company as they both try to find more verbal ways to speak.

Raul Alfonso Tejada

Of course Raul is DELIGHTED to have someone he can speak in his own native tongue to. It’s like having a secret language between them, one that a lot of other people still understand or can at least learn if they try hard enough. Still, it’s nice to know that he doesn’t have to keep struggling to remember an English word for something that he already knows in Spanish just to make sure that his friend knows what he means.

Lily Bowen

Lily doesn’t understand much Spanish, but she is very patient when it comes to the Courier speaking in what little English they know, and when they have to use gestures to get their point across. She really does delight in the little conversations they have together, and whether she actually realizes it or not, she actually is starting to recognize a lot of words for items and places which makes communicating with her a lot easier over time.

Craig Boone

Boone knows a good bit of Spanish, both conversational and professional. It was part of his job to know several different languages, or to at least understand key words in them, but Spanish seems to be the one that really stuck with him. With that in mind, he gives the Courier two options: He can help them learn more English so they can communicate easier with people who don’t know Spanish or who refuse to learn, or the Courier can continue to use Spanish as their main language and Boone will do his best to continue to learn what he needs to know to communicate fluently.

Veronica Santangelo

Veronica used to know Spanish. She wasn’t fluent in it by any means, but she could count to fifty, name the colors of the rainbow, and introduce herself before asking for the library or restroom (she was never really sure which). Unfortunately, the years of isolation in a place that dominantly spoke English means she ended up losing it because she wasn’t using it. With a bit of work, however, she is sure that she will one day reach the level where she can have a full conversation with the Courier in their native tongue.

Arcade Gannon

Is it strange that Arcade understands Latin better than he does Spanish? Of course he can understand most of what the Courier is saying, especially when they use what English they do know to help explain what they are trying to say, but for the most part conversations with Arcade will be slow going at first, but as he learns he will get better and soon have full fluent conversations with the Courier in whichever language they want to use.

Vulpes

Let’s be honest here, Vulpes knows how to insult you in at least three known languages, and two that honestly sound rather made up. And it doesn’t just stop there. He is capable of full communication in any of the languages he speaks, and Spanish just happens to be one of them so he has no need for the Courier to speak English, but he is impressed with what they might know already and would certainly encourage them to keep working at it if that is what they want.

Victor

I literally love him so much but there is like nothing on him anywhere. Personally I was really disappointed about there being basically no side missions or deep lore points with the Atom Cats in general, they are a really interesting group & it would have been so cool to have a huge backstory on them.

Zeke was born and raised in Diamond City, but he ended up leaving almost as soon as he could. It was less that he didn’t love his parents- he really did in a way- and more that he didn’t like the life they were living and expected him to live.

Because of how young and inexperienced he was with the world at first, Zeke joined up with a caravan for a while. There he befriended a man he called Uncle Jo that taught Zeke almost everything he now knows about weapons, armor and modification, and while Uncle Jo was sorry to see Zeke go, he wished him the best and dropped a hint or two about a nice little garage that just needed a little clean-up.

Zeke followed this hint, found the garage, wiped out the ferals that had taken over, and began to set up shop. It was hard going at first, even he could admit that, but he obviously did rather well for himself as his time among the caravan had not only helped to spread his name, but had also taught him a thing or two about bargaining.

Quinn

Quinn is a huge fan of slow dancing with his partner. He is usually the tallest one around which allows him to hold his partner against his chest as they sway back and forth in one place and lets him place little kisses on the top of their head. More than likely it’s during this moment that Quinn first tells them he loves them, and he means it with all his heart. He wouldn’t expect them to say it back at first, especially since he knows full well that he tends to move fast in relationships, but he just wants to make absolutely sure that they know how he feels about them.

Charon

While Charon really doesn’t need to sleep he knows that his partner more than likely will. When the time comes for his partner to bunker down for the night Charon will take every opportunity given to him to lay with them, usually waiting until they are half-asleep to pull them up onto his chest where they can get comfortable and fall fully asleep. He can lay for hours just watching them sleep and wonder if perhaps this feeling of love and security he has while holding them is the universe's way of apologizing for every horrible thing that had led up to this moment to start with.

Gob

Idk if you've done something like this before, but what about the companions react to courier trying to help Cass end or stifle her drinking problem and how they would help?

While the following is considered 100% Safe For Work, there are mentions of addiction, alcohol addiction and alcohol use that may be triggering to some. Please proceed with caution!

Rose of Sharon Cassidy

Cass herself would appreciate the Courier's concern, but there will be a steady push-back at first. She is not denying that she has an addiction, she simply thinks that she is beyond help and that it would be a wasted effort to try. If the Courier continues to push the matter, Cass will eventually allow it, but this method doesn’t work for everyone, as many people will deny they have a problem or simply refuse help until it’s too late. When it comes to accepting the help and treatment (be it therapy, cold-turkey, or whatever other method is tried) Cass really will give it her all and while there will be several severe ups nad downs on the way, she will do her best ot remind herself that it’s only because people- or at the very least the Courier- really do care about and love her.

Cait

There’s a small part of Cait, a part of her that she can usually squash, that wishes Sole would keep the goods to themselves after all the hard work they went through to get it, unless the people they insist of passing it to prove that they had or would have worked just as hard to get it 

Curie (Post-Emergent Behavior)

Curie is rather indifferent to it all. She understands that a lot of people rely on the help of others like Sole to help them get their day-to-day resources, and that in order to get them things need to get a little violent sometimes. So long as Sole doesn’t start to target anyone that doesn’t deserve it, Curie really won’t have any kind of an issue with it at all.

Danse (Pre-Blind Betrayal)

Danse disagrees with some of what Sole is doing. On the whole, he agrees that no one person or group of people should hold that much power unless they are able to prove themselves as responsible, but he disagrees that Sole should be the one to decide how it is handled. He does, however, feel that Sole is right in giving back or giving to those that need it more, even if he thinks that the people receiving it really should be doing at least something in return.

Hancock

Hancock finds that he is rather nervous about the whole ordeal. What exactly does Sole consider rich? Do they give you a chance to correct your behavior? Do they rob those that are already giving back to the community like he does? If those fears and worries are assuaged, then he will be completely behind Sole and what they do, but until they are he is going to be more than a little jumpy around them.

MacCready

It takes a little while, but honestly? MacCready is all for it! He can admit that at first he thought Sole was no better than a raider, stealing from those that had more than they did, and he kept waiting for that tommy gun to be turned on him. But over time, he began to realize that Sole was doing it to help those that need it, an excuse for violence he can actually get behind.

Piper Wright

Piper is a bit torn. On the one hand, she loves that Sole wants to give and give back to those in need. But on the other hand, she feels that they are going a bit over the top with how they are doing it. Piper feels that if Sole really wants to get things done, and keep them done, that going undercover, exposing and even black-mailing or just manipulation the rich into giving up their goods is much better than threatening or even straight up robbing them, but so long as the job gets done she supposes that there really isn’t that much to complain about.

Preston Garvey

Preston loves the idea, but not the execution (no pun intended). He feels that while a certain level of intimidation might be needed, that threatening others into giving up what they have is still more akin to raider behavior, even if you are giving it right back or straight to the poorer people that don’t have the resources. Still, so long as Sole doesn’t kill anyone that isn’t an immediate threat Preston finds that he can turn a blind-eye to it all.

Porter Gage

Cait

Cait’s heart breaks for Sole, but she also worries about what this means for the future of the Commonwealth. She has seen Sole in battle, she had fought beside them many times, but seeing how swayed Sole is by their own emotions (not that she thinks there is really anything bad about that, mind you) she worries that they may make the wrong decision in the end, and allow their feelings towards what could have been guide them away from what should be.

Curie (Post-Emergent Behavior)

At first, Curie is a bit confused about why this is bad news. Sole has been looking for their son for so long that it should be good news that they found them! And they are leading something… well, not exactly great but trying so hard to make the world a little better. It’s not until Curie fully understands the ethical issues with the Institute (a surprisingly easy conversation to have with her) that she realizes why this is such a bittersweet moment for Sole.

Danse (Pre-Blind Betrayal)

Danse wants Sole to destroy the Institute, and if that means destroying their own son as well, then they have his deepest sympathies but there is work to be done. Imagine if he had let Cutler live after he was turned into a Supermutant just because he let his personal feelings get in the way? 

Hancock

Hancock worries about how this will affect Sole in the long run. Sure, they’re putting on a stoic face for now but what about down the line? What about later when they realize that a child they helped bring into this world nearly ruined it while trying to make it “better”? What will happen when they figure out the child they loved from the moment they were conceived turned into one of the most hated and feared people in all the Commonwealth? Will they blame the child? Or will they blame themself? And when it really comes down to it, will they be able to destroy their own flesh and blood for the betterment of everything around them?

MacCready

MacCready is going to support Sole in their decision no matter what. He is a parent himself, and he can still only imagine what Sole is going through when they learn what had become of their child, plus he really can’t say for sure what he would do if Duncan grew up to be the same as Shaun turned out to be.

Piper Wright

Right away Piper tries to think of ways to take down the Institute without having to kill the leader as well. She would never ask Sole to kill her own child, no matter how old they were or what they had done, but she also cannot turn her back on the people that look to her for help and answers whether they admit it or not.

Preston Garvey

Preston worries that Sole might change their mind about destroying the Institute, but he knows that he wouldn’t be able to put any blame on them if they had second thoughts. His heart also breaks for them so badly that he can physically feel it, but he has to urge them to keep thinking of the greater good, even if it means giving up one of the last reminders of a better time.

Porter Gage

Gage has to laugh at it all, honestly. Saw your requests were open! It’s a bit of an oddball request, but I haven’t seen it yet. For Sole and the fallout 4 companions, how would they react to a werebeast/werewolf Sole? Maybe lycanthropy was more common before the war, maybe not. But imagine them transforming under the moon, or possibly transforming in the heat of battle to save their companion from a deadly enemy. Maybe Sole is proud of their second skin, or maybe they’re shy of it. It doesn’t have to be only “Woe is me, I am a beast”, you know? Have fun with the circumstances.

Heyy, love the blog! Could you write something about (romanced and non-romanced) Fallout New Vegas companions reacting to a courier who’s highly intelligent (like an intelligence of 9 or something) and really charismatic 

In the beginning of Fallout 4, you know how you get to interact with objects and the sole survivor will comment on little things?  If you interact with the dog bowl, sole comments “Never gonna find that dog…” Going into a sad note here, but the dog either started to look like one of those feral mongeral with no hair or probably didn’t make it, but Im just gonna go with the first one for this request because I started thinking about it. Say sole is traveling with a companion and they actually find the dog and as expected, they look like a hairless feral dog.  Maybe they just avoided people and has been surviving off what they could, despite looking feral.  The only way sole knew it was them was from the worn out collar, the name tag with the dogs name and other info (like those tags that have the vet info and sometimes the owners number incase they get lost).  Considering how long it’s been the dog could be afraid still, but may warm up to them? Any Fo4 companion reactions from this? Plus sole taking them back to Sanctuary Hills and taking care of them again? 

I saw the romanced companions with a movie night, but what about a sole fixing up a movie theater, not an outdoor one, so that sole could have movie nights with all of the companions together at least once a week, just to have a day where they could have friends movie night together.  Each week one companion chooses a movie to watch with the rest along with sole sharing some of their favorite movies pre war, so that they can take turns.  Sole would always make sure they got the popcorn, soda pops, candy, and other Movie Theater foods they can get for everyone. What do you think each companions favorite movies or movie genres would they like? (Im certain MacCready would be the superhero fan and go around marvel and DC and Nick would be for the older movies/Noir detective stories, Deacon is probably a comedy fan?? But I’m not sure of everyone else).  Also any hcs of how’d they feel of sole doing this and what the companions would be like in the movie theater?

Fallout 4 companions react to some who is just, in tears over having to fight at all ever, constantly crying in battle sobbing their poor heart out but like they are winning the fight. Very much successful in battle they barely struggle against whatever the wastes throw at them they just hate being forced to fight at all. Crying doesn't even really slow them down.

Okay, this is stupid but this idea has been bouncing around my head like a DVD logo: Fallout 4 companions plus Mags Black reacting to being in a firefighter with the sole survivor and they see them catch a grenade in flight and throwing it right back? 

So my request is like I mentioned, it involves a guilt ridden sole. In this request, sole is a kind and sensitive person and all the companions know it, sole is someone who could do no harm to those who are innocent/do not deserve any harm. Say sole and their companion is out in a fight and sole accidentally shot an innocent person in the midst of the fire, not a child of course.  Just an adult. (If you want to be really angsty you can say how bad the damage is) For example maybe it was helping a settlement that was being invaded or sole called the minutemen for help and hit one of the minuteman or something? In result after sole helps the person to the best of their ability and some stimpacks, sole goes and isolates themselves because they felt bad that they shot someone that wasn’t bad.  How would the companions react to it and how they’d comfort sole? (I wanted to say sole accidentally killed them, and then went into hiding for a while and couldn’t take it that they took an innocent persons life.  Not like suicidal, just didn’t want to be around anyone. And how the companions would react to/ feel about it and how they would comfort them, but I felt like that would be too far)

If they are joking, they had better let her know soon or there just might be some hell to pay.

Raul laughs it off at first, then thinks that maybe the Courier just found out about the aesthetic and liked it. He will ask them some questions about what they think a cowboy is and why they dress and act like they do if they really don’t know. If it comes out that the Courier does know what a cowboy is, he will laugh it off like he knew they were kidding the entire time. If they don’t know, then he supposes he can find the time to sit them down for a bit of a lengthy history lesson and tell them everything he knows about them from both before and after the war.

Lily only knows what cowboys are from the old romance novels and holotapes in the vault she grew up in. To her, a cowboy is as romantic as one can get. They rush in to save the day and get the attention of the potential love interest, all of which she explains to the Courier if they tell her that they don’t know what a cowboy is despite them being almost exactly what she had been reading about since she was a young woman. Of course, this will lead to her telling many other stories about her life in the vault, something she has been looking forward to talking about ever since they met.

Boone just needs a moment to himself. If it was a joke, then it wasn’t a good one. If the Courier is serious, then he has lost a little bit of hope in the world. After a while he finds a way to explain it to them while making sure to point out some stereotypes and inaccuracies, some of which he gets wrong as well. If the Courier admits that they were just joking then he will still be upset, but happy to know that they weren’t just living some kind of fantasy that they had no idea how it worked.

Veronica jokes with them at first, but if they continue to insist they have no idea what a cowboy is, she will be forced to admit that she isn’t sure what they are either. If she still has access to Hidden Valley then Veronica will use all possible resources to learn about them and find out that she also likes the aesthetic and romanticism behind them. If the Courier admits that they were joking and already knew what a cowboy was, she will needle them with questions to learn everything she can with the same end result as if she had learned about them on her own.

Arcade is left speechless. Whether or not the Courier is joking doesn’t matter, what matters is how far they were willing to go to achieve the look and vibe they were going for. The outfit was understandable, as he had heard that Beatrix had somehow found herself one, but he imagined that the ghoulified horse was a little harder to come across. For them to even joke that they had no idea what a cowboy was was almost too much for him to handle.

Benny isn’t sure what else to say, and he isn’t even sure if what he had said made any sense. His mind seems to be short circuiting as he tries to wrap it around the fact that the Courier might be serious about not knowing what a cowboy is despite everything. If the Courier is serious then Benny will be forced to admit that he isn’t too sure either, but he thinks it might have been some kind of pre-war tribe or something. If they tell him that they do in fact know, he will look for validation that he was right about them being a pre-war tribe, and refuse to believe anything else

Vuples doesn’t see any irony in his statement, even though if he were asked what a centurion or frumentarii was historically, he would be both right and wrong in his answer. If the Courier were to reveal that they were only joking with him he would claim that he suspected all along, but there are so many that don’t know that it was better to be safe than sorry. If the Courier genuinely doesn’t know, he will leave it up to them to find out more while still needling them about not knowing before claiming to be something they are not.
