Grace as an adult doesn’t give me “neglected by his parents as a kid” vibes like I’ve been seeing in a lot of headcanons. He gives me “raised by his grandparents” vibes.

Which to me makes more sense than his parents being absentee and then passing away when he’s an adult. I feel like they died when he was a child and his grandparents raised him with a great love of academia before passing of old age when he was older.

I think I need a fic where Grace is kidnapped by a group of not so moral Eridian scientists who want to learn about humans (the same way Grace learned about that first Astrophage cell rip) and Rocky and Adrian need to save him.
