sorry i didn’t think anyone would notice 😭 but i read up on generative ai and realised it doesn’t exactly fit into my moral code lol, i encourage you guys to learn a little more about it too ! try some alternatives like writing your own fanfics, roleplaying with others online, etc.

i have 🥲 i’m generally fine with adaptational changes but.  i just think if you’re going to stray far enough from the source material that you have to put quotation marks around the title to clarify your film is only inspired by its namesake,  why use the title and characters at all.  just make the pulpy bodice ripper you want to without stripping emily brontë’s novel of its complex themes and narrative loll
