It's New Years Eve and I move out of my childhood home for the first time in two days. I am excited as well as nervous because of the new life I will start. I do have cousins I am close with that already live in Tennessee. Some people would say that makes them feel better, and in some ways it does, but on the other hand if i fail.. I'm going to be perceived and judged by them too. So that's why failure is not an option. I need to be ready to work hard and FOCUS!

Another layer is that the job I want is in the business one of my cousins is in. So she is helping me while also staying cautious because its her reputation I will be representing when i meet people she connects me with. So she will be having a special eye on me making sure I'm not fucking up haha.

I'm sure it will all go great and that I will love a change of scenery at the very least. Especially since I live in Midwest hell. I've been thinking about what my rebrand should consist of this year and this is some of my goals (so I can reflect on them later):

-Learn the splits

-Get a job in my industry

-Start initiating hangouts

-Work out at least 3x each week

-Eat homecooked meal at least 2x each week

-Journal/Meditate nightly

-Read at least one book

It was my moms and she’s had it since the 70s and gave to me when I was born.
