Holmes, in my opinion, probably grew up in a bad part of town where they had to learn. I don't think Marlowe and Holmes are much different. But I do think Holmes got out of it happy and healed, and Marlowe... Didn't. I think they grew up in a shitty part of town, where they were constantly in fights, but when they sparred with him, they held back more than he thought they did. They could've flipped him easily and ended that spar right then and there, but they didn't. I also headcanon they go to the gym and work out often, so they're quite muscular, but even when he attacked them like that, they didn't fight him because they simply didn't want to and didn't view him as a threat.

That is me currently. Redacted used to be my LIFELINE. I used to listen constantly. I would re listen to audios over and over again until I could say them out loud word for word. I used to catch all of the little details, I once stayed up for almost a week listening to every single audio - I was genuinely going crazy - I could hear the characters around me and shit, which was whack, but I remembered everything.

If I could think of one crack friendship in the entire Reverie fandom, it'd be Bug and Dove. I feel like they would've met when they were quite young, and it's a friendship Bug kept hidden from Gage. In my opinion, being a psychic makes it impossible to hide your abilities. Sure, you can pretend you don't know the stuff you know, but you can have visions at any time, and anyone can see you fall the fuck out on the floor or go completely still. I also think your eye color changes (I think black but, that's just me) - how does a human explain that away? Y'know?

When Gage and Bug had their big fight and were living apart for a while, I think Bug went over to Dove's place. Crying, shaking on the front porch, and when Dove opened the door, they immediately pulled Bug into a hug and let them stay. I feel like Bug would've been a lot happier there, hanging out with Dove, seeing Cyril every now and again, hearing drama from the institute - things that made them feel less alone.

I think that if they were to find out what Dion did (killing all Royalty for Crystallis and The Inferno Dominion), they would come back. Not because he needs them, but because they would take the throne for him, so no other evil ass mother fucker can take the throne and ruin everything again.

I also seeing them having a lot of religious trauma, more than even Dion and Kane, where they got so fed up with it to the point that the last conversation they had with Talus was telling him that he isn't "keeping people in line", or "keeping order", or "making sure they don't stray from the path of the God's", he was JUST torturing people, because he's a cruel man who find pleasure in torturing others psychologically and physically.

I also think that it wouldn't be that they don't believe in the God's, but that if they ever met one, they would kill said God, or they would die trying. They hate the God's. They hate royalty, they hate authority, but it would be HEARTBREAKING if they had to become the authority that they've always hated for the betterness of The Inferno Dominion. They would have to be the "cruel" leader that's "stripping them of their culture", when in reality, they're fixing all of the horrible things that had been going on for lord only knows how long.

It would be SO easy to make him have memory loss - he and Kane BOTH went through SO much trauma, having a younger sibling, especially one that was heavily tortured by Talus and "favored" by him.

I think if they were Talus' favored sibling to try and control, they would probably not be out in the open often, and if they were, they probably didn't have the privilege to talk as much as Dion and Kane did. Dion was "spoiled" for his situation, being able to rebel in his own way, but it might be possible that if he had a younger sibling, they never truly were able to know him, and were tormented with it by Talus.

I also think they could've been "the sibling no one cared about", which could've helped them run away and start a new life somewhere else - new name, new place, away from the Inferno Dominion.

Am I the ONLY one who thinks of anyone with powers as super op? Like - they're JUST the most powerful all the time and I become shocked when they aren't?

For example, when I first met Cyril and Dove, I immediately thought that Dove was the most op EVER. They have loads of visions, they're basically a seer, they're amazing and wonderful. Aren't their visions random? They happen enough for them to protect Cyril and make sure their family and friends are safe ! Wouldn't that be overwhelming? Yes ! This is why I project onto them so much ! They just have visions, they can't be THAT good at anything. Erm... ACTUALLY, THEY CAN USE A GUN, SO. Who needs powers when you have a FUCKING GUN and whatever weapons and gadgets Roman's made in his lab?

I'm such an overpower person. I do NOT care AT ALL. I hate that bs of "oh, well, you can't do that ! All characters have weaknesses !" argument. First of all, my ears are plugged, second of all - THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE OVERPOWERED FOR YOU ! YOU CAN SEE THEM HOWEVER YOU WANT, THAT'S WHY THEY'RE A LISTENER ! NOT EVERYONE IS GONNA THINK THEY'RE GIVING TRAD GOTH WEDNESDAY ADAMS WITH A MORE TEASING AND TROUBLE MAKER KIND OF PERSONALITY.

Also - I do this to ocs too ! If I make a universe, EVERYONE BECOMES OVERPOWERED. Mha? Overpowered oc. Jjk? Overpowered oc. My own universe? OVER. POWERED. EVERYONE IS A GOD TODAY, but I'm the godliest of all, because 𝘐 made them ! I am the God over my ocs, and my inserts. And I am a MEGA BITCH. Trauma after trauma, AND I'm projecting, I care very little.
