The omega would not take it well at all. If their pup is not old enough to be on their own then they’re reliant on their parents and - especially in an omega’s case - the parents are reliant on them. It’s in an omega’s instincts to protect their pup in addition to caring for them so if the omega was forced to leave it would suck balls.

It’s possible the omega would go feral in an attempt to stay with their pup. This scenario is most likely if the omega is being forced away by someone else but it could happen if they tried to leave on their own but didn’t have enough control over their instincts to do so.

Without their pup they could very easily become depressed. They may try to seek out their pack mates and/or their mate for affection in order to cope. Some people cope better than others but it would still be really hard.

OV pups learn very fast in just a few months. Like rolling over, crawling, holding things, facial expressions, things of the like.

They "mistakenly" scent things that don't need to be scented and they mostly do it because they are fond of the thing or marking territory without realizing it.

Oftentimes, if there is more than one pup in a litter, parents will not separate their pups. Cribs are built huge and are advanced enough to make sure that nothing bad happens.

In a litter there's always a leader pup, doesn't matter the dynamic or the order of birth. Although it does tend to either be the first born or last born.

Pups have crazy memory over scents. Which is both a gift and a curse. They tend to get overstimulated with these smells, so I imagine they can get a lot of sinus infections.

Build-A-Bear, or similar stores, are really popular for young pups. The reason is that scent packets their parents can scent can be added in. So you'll see a lot of pups snuggling up with their stuffies when they miss their parents.

It is a common phenomenon that pups form packs in school in their classes. They often move to the next grade as a pack if this happens.

Pups, around toddler age, pull a fainting goat/possum whenever they get too startled out of range of their parents. Cue their parents rousing them away with cuddles.

Pups are big cuddlers. Whenever there's a chance to cuddle someone they like it's free real estate.

A lot of people in the Omegaverse are sentimental, so the toys you see pups have come from their parents. Same goes for blankets.

Pups are very considerate without trying to be. They have a higher emotional intellect than that of irl children. They can understand quick. (This is specific to the biology and evolution of OV)

Siblings scent one another is so cute to me. They are out bonding and just hug a little, "Don't go too far."

I'm sorry, but pups on the baby leashes are so funny to me. In my headcanon there tend to be a lot of multiples and thinking of parents with a haul of kids is so silly.

The Alpha will try holding their baby regardless of the pup's age. Of course, if they see that their child is visually hurt, they'd be careful.

an alpha's main instinct is to protect and provide, right? so i would think this would lead to a full-blown panic attack because their senses would be overstimulated as hell.

more than likely, they would go feral. even if it's a scrape to the knee, they will be swiping away and growling at anyone who gets close. emts? cops? even their own omegas? no one is safe when it comes down to their hurt pup

the alpha would feel so guilty. they are known for being proactive and preventing anything like this. so to see this happening to their pup, they'd feel so guilty.

oof, if the alpha is out or at work and they hear about this? they're ripping through whatever establishment they are in and getting to their baby. literally breaking speed laws to get to their pup and again feeling guilty that they weren't there to prevent it

if the pup is hurt enough to go to the hospital, I think that the alpha would more than likely need to be restrained or given a sedative of some sort. they would be so alert and jumpy towards everyone

the alpha's scent would also be something to be wary of. it's shooting out all kinds of pheromones. Protective ones, scared, angry, etc., would make other people dizzy or even pass out from being overwhelmed

all of the drama aside, they might be in complete control of the situation. hyperfocused on what needs to be done and how to care for their pup.

Afterward, the alpha would have an internal dilemma of being overprotective, strict, or cautious about their pup. as a parent, they would want their child to be able to experience childhood, even if that means they get hurt, but they don't know if it's something they can personally go through again

they would try not to be too outward with their nerves, but we all know that their partner will notice a difference in them. their mate will be their for their alpha as much as they will be there for their pup to make sure they all learn from this experience

honestly i really do think that George fans and Charles fans should become allies. we have so much in common... both of our guys have grinded for years but yet still regularly find themselves being cursed by their own teams...
