“hey there, pretty lady.”  Words come as easily as breathing, and she settles in front of the other woman. A bend of her index lifts @onlyliberty​​ ‘s chin upward. “I hear- you’re looking for a kiss there.” And she dips her head, and does just that. And she kisses her- and kisses her long and deeply. Why? Because she’s always enjoyed kissing Anne.

    Anne smiles at her as she always does. Soft, and sweet and both of the things she never considered herself to be, but when Armistice looks at her like this there is a small part of her that flushes with pride. Her smile could bring nations to their knees, she thinks to herself as she rises onto her tippy toes just a little bit to kiss her back. She’s happy.

    Armistice slips her other arm around her hip, a hand slipping beneath her shirt, and settles comfortably along the small of her back. Taking the kiss and holds it there; pressing her lips along hers gently and tenderly. Equal parts heat and affection reflected in such a light gesture. She hums, the grin softening to a light smile before she sets her forehead against Anne’s.

     Boots click against the wooden floor as she pushes past the doors of the saloon. Blue eyes shift from one patron to another; newcomers that served as the guests to both vices that make up the intent in the confines of this place. An examining gaze made for the surroundings that make their mark. She steps inside with the toss of the final piece of licorice into her mouth, chewing on that thought, as careful steps take her to the bar. An appreciative eye made for the escorts themselves, and then that wandering attention lifts to the floor above them. Gauging the falling distance between here and there, and then waves for a drink

     It in her musing that she notices a particular missus. A red head, looking as pleased as any to be here - and by that hardly she thinks. Armistice finishes chewing and then lifts her chin, “You look parched.” Comment comes with a light smile, “I’d blame the heat, but really- I’d like to just ask you for a drink.”

     Uses the tip of her thumb and the bend of an index to tip Anne’s head back and up. A smile teases her lips before she can’t help the notion entirely, and it is with a broad grin that Armistice dips her head to kiss her.

“Armistice! Stop! I could’ve dropped my croissant!” She almost had — the delicate thing teetered on her fingertips before coming to rest back in the palms of her hands. “Don’t scare me like that!” For a moment, she debated on throwing the croissant at her, but that wouldn’t do, it would be a waste of a perfectly good treat. Instead, she spun quickly and planted a rather sloppy kiss across the woman’s cheek. “It took you long enough to go get coffee — did you actually go get coffee?”

       Anne was silent when she wanted to be, that was for damn sure. Armistice hadn’t even heard her approach on her arrival home. Keys tossed into the little cup and a coat lifted to set upon it’s hook. And then arms slipped around her middle and Armistice can’t help but to stiffen briefly before she relaxed into her hold. Chin dipping as blue eyes slip back to eye the red tresses along the top of a messy bun. Form relaxed completely with a tender smile as hands settle along her wife’s gently.

quiet mornings very rarely stayed that way. with a house almost completely empty and her body clock still running on mother settings, she had been up the second the bedroom door had creaked open and her son’s little head peeked around the doorframe. from there, it was a multitude of chores, school lunches, laundry… shite, they could probably very comfortably eat off of the floor by the time anne’s done with it. sometimes it feels like armistice fits perfectly against her; tall enough that she could likely rest her chin atop her head, smelling incredible from the shower but… anne’s nose wrinkles. “You’re all soggy, love.”

       She comes out of the bathroom- naked as the day she was born with only a towel set along her shoulders as she pats blonde hair dry. With James at school, a day off, and the wife home still. This was looking to be a grand morning. She sidles up behind Anne and slips arms around her middle to bury her face into the line of her neck. Taking a long inhale before place a kiss there and settling a head at her shoulder.

      “ Morning, sweetheart.” She speaks after a long and satisfied grunt.

     “What happens after.” The question comes after a long silence. “We get to that child of yours. Protect her, do whatever it takes. What happens then?” There was no question that Armistice would follow her until she could no longer, she was loyal to Maeve. She would see her getting to her daughter. But Armistice had time to think now, and with wandering thoughts came a bit of wonder. Could she be blamed for that? “What do you suppose we do?”
