Alucard had showed his guest the massive library earlier that day. Now it was dinner time the dhampir came to check on Sven. He was greeted by a wall of stacked books and stepping around he saw the human on the floor reading.
"Sorry to interrupt. I went ahead and made dinner: venison steak with wild potatoes and carrots." The dhampir said and set the plate and glass of wine next to the human. "If you need any help I know practically every book about healing and potion making by heart, it's my specialty. If you want to make potions I'd read some of the alchemy books first, it helps alot with making sense of the potion recipes."
"Alucard!" When he saw the dhampir Sven got up quickly closing the book still holding it in his hand. And seeing that the blond made dinner for him, the priest was a little embarrassed. "I should be making dinner, shouldn't I? Thanks anyway and it looks appetizing." He takes the plate and wine and takes it to a nearby table.
"Sorry to raid your library... but I've been in love with books since I was a kid. They've been my best friends ever since. And I'm incredibly bad at healing potions. So I see you have a wonderful collection on the subject. I ended up absorbed longer than I should have." Sven smiles a little sheepishly.
"Oh alchemy huh? I'll definitely read those later then. I want to be able to be more efficient on a battlefield. Not just as a soldier or weapon. But healing people if possible." When he was going to sit down to eat he looked at Alucard suddenly.
"Have you eaten yet? Wouldn't you like to join me?"
