Aaron Wynia took this photo in Detroit last summer on a skateboard trip in Detroit and says, “Detroit is full of run down houses, this is one of em.” And we think that house and this photo are pretty awesome.

Artist Hillary White and Jerry Nowlin are tearing up ShirtPunch today with their awesome new shirt designs. Krang gets a Kawaii cupcake / TMNT mashup from Hillary while the Batman logo gets broken down into the numerous “Wonderful” weapons used by the Dark Knight’s enemies.

Was Elvis Presley a Secret Unicorn? Doesn’t David Bowie make an awesome pegasus?

Jessie Bowie, who can be found on Etsy under the name sleepybowie, uses her watercolour skilles to paint celebrity heads onto the bodies of animals, or as she calls them, “anthropomorphic freaks.” She says, “It’s much more fun to paint humans that aren’t human.” It had never occurred to us to picture Johnny Depp as Edward Scissorhands with the body of a black cat, but somehow it makes perfect sense now that we’ve seen it. And Bill Murray’s Steve Zissou on the body of a rare Crayon Seahorse is pretty much perfection.
