DO NOT CALL THE PARENTS IF YOU FIND HIM, CALL THE POLICE. They will be able to bring the kid into contact with his own towns police, who will help bring him home or to safety. A lot of things on this make it look more like he’s trying to run away from home for good rather than leave to visit a boyfriend. Call the police, because if it turns out he lives in an abusive household he can tell the police and they can help him, but calling parents directly might throw him back into a possibly abusive household. Get him to safety, then they can decide wether or not home is safe anymore
