Josh Gad updates on Frozen 3 in GMA | Latest Updates
On GMA on Wednesday, Johs Gad teased Frozen 3 confidentially, alongside his castmates. The hostess, asked Josh Gad what he can tell us about Frozen 3 and 4 and this is what he had to say:
“I've started recording...and so I started doing that and it's the funniest of the three movies I've ever recorded and I was laughing my butt off. I've heard two of the songs - they are incredible. Bobby and Kristen (Lopez)...wrote the music again - It's incredible... So there's some unbelievable stuff, unbelievable development. This is the one, it's gonna work, this is the one where it all works!

Gad had also recently said, not too long ago, that the character development was also incredible.
Seems like Josh Gad is really enjoying himself which is a great sign. But don't fear when he says it's the funniest of all the films because let's not forget he's playing Olaf! Olaf is all about love and warmth but he also adds humour to lighten things up a bit as he was in Frozen 1. Frozen 2 had him more wiser, gaining new facts and applying them to situations they were in which is great for his development but to some he seemed too wise, and not his original self and he was also experiencing negative emotions such as anger and sadness, so this time round, having a more funny, light hearted side to him is great!
We also found out earlier this year that our beloved song writers, the Lopezs', for the franchise, are back for Frozen 3 and Gad has expressed how he loves these songs and again, though obvious, that's still amazing to hear because Frozen 1 and 2 both had incredible songs that had us listening on repeat!
He's really pushing on how incredible the development is and if he's pushing this hard I'm sure to must be. He even says this is the one where it all works so I'm curious to know what exactly he meant by that. He must mean the one where the songs, the arcs, the story all work out in which case it's set to be bigger than we can even imagine! I also hope he means fitting the two previous movies together, where things tie up and make sense for those who don't yet understand. I mean we did get a board of questions like who is the frozen heart, why are their ruins in Ahtohallan. So it looks like some of those questions will actually be answered meaning it'll be lore packed and I'm all in for that, if that's the case.
So far we gave Josh Gad in the studio and Kristen Bell in the studio to record their lines. Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff are yet to enter the studio as far as we know.
