She was Emily's only toy aside from those few horses, when she was left at the donation site al found her pretty soon.
She was the first of the roundup gang to be collected so she went straight into storage alone for years until bullseye came along. Even when Pete got there he didn't talk to her too too much aside from manipulating where it mattered.
Basically she had mostly no one to talk to for decades except a horse so her social skills were very out there, first coming into Andy's room she was an extreme chatterbox.
The other toys found it a little much at times but buzz always hung onto every word she said.
She's friends with the other toys well enough, but mostly after settling she stuck closer to the mains. Especially after bo was gone she stuck closer to woody and buzz most of the time. After bo left, the main 3 stuck together much more often
Shes gotta be manufactured different at this point, still in perfect condition, never lost a limb like the other mains, unusual strength for a ragdoll. Stitching of steel over here.
She enables and helps woody in his pranks. Tom and Foolery whenever theyre up to something.
Jessie was already aware of their last names and had to explain that lore to woody. He already had a feeling since he saw her like a sister anyways.
After woody loses his pullstring, next time he visits(pre-poncho era) shes a little sad theyre not entirely matching anymore, but doesnt let him know since hes also not doing great about it.
She only lets woody call her jess
It took her about two weeks to get used to woody not being there after 4. 3 she knew he was going to college. Now he was somewhere unknown. She knew he was happy and she always had a piece of him with her(badge) but she still had to process that he was really gone.
She wasnt as close to or with the rest of the toys as long as woody, so she felt a bit more pressure on taking over as sheriff.
Bonnie is her baby at this point. If she could talk to humans mama bear would come out.
She'll wear a dress for a bit or disguise but casually? Get it the hell away from her.
He still mispronounces words, even to this day. It might be on purpose to mess with the others.
Actually does like tea parties. He finds them pretty relaxing when he has both his arms.
His arm that fell off is stable but now has a little extra rotation.
His space ranger programming helps him be more tactical. Hes an excellent planner.
He doesnt mind being second in command. Hes more happy to be the support for his friends and family than fully being in charge.
He got used to being the target of woody's pranks, eventually starting to get him back on multiple occasions. Once jessie came into the room he had to be the one to make sure those two didnt cause too much trouble.
Hes still confused by his spanish mode, but appreciates it for being a wingman and helping him dance well. He can understand Spanish while in regular mode after 3 which also confused him at first, now he just goes with it.
Before jessie came along he still spent most of his time with woody.
He's constantly worried about doing his part and doing it well. He still questions his own thoughts from time to time even if the others reassure him hes doing fine.
Bo was his moving buddy but he still was closest to the prides. He was sad to see her go but he chose to be support for the other two.
He fixes mollys' barbies hair for them. He was doing the troll doll's hair in 1, he knows what hes doing.
He understood woody would be happier not leaving bo again. It still took him a while to get through his best friend being gone.
Jessie adjusted to nighttime in andy's room because buzz glows in the dark. She started making sure she was close to him when the lights would go out. It took buzz a short amount of time to realize what she was doing but he was happy to let her continue if it meant she felt safe.
He always listened to her, even if she was chattering away about something at random. He found her energy endearing even if the other toys thought it was a bit much. Especially after learning she was alone for so long, he decided then and there to stay by her side.
Shes very aware of how flustered she gets him. She finds it cute how she can rile him up with just a little look. Shes also aware he only reacts that way to her and no one else.
He's stayed with her and calmed her down through many panic attacks.
He's the mediator between her and whoever's at the business end of her temper. He wont let it get too far but sometimes he finds it kinda hot.
Jessie's very grateful that hes there when she needs it but still lets her have her independence and strong emotions. Occasionally he'll get her to backtrack and keep her cool especially when she becomes sheriff. He helps her navigate being in the leadership position through her anxieties.
When going to sunnyside, buzz wasnt going to leave her side even if it meant not going back with woody. After 3 they came to an unspoken understanding of how much they loved each other. They were even more inseperable than ever.
They were always a great team and worked together very well, now as sheriff and deputy and husband and wife.
A little bit after the wedding it finally hit jessie that she had gotten the commitment she'd needed for so long. She needed one constant. She needed someone to stay. She finally got it.
They stuck very close together after woody left. They both missed him and took a while to fully process him being gone gone. Buzz reassured her that woody gave her the badge for a reason and that she was doing great. Jessie would also listen and offer comfort when he was missing his best friend.
Woody knew they liked each other for the longest time. Literally the king julien "how long is this going to TAKE" over here. When they kissed in 5 his internal thoughts were "its about damn time"
Buzz loves how much smaller her hands are than his. He doesnt know how something so delicate looking can throw such a punch, but man he loves his strong wife.
Jessie tends to initiate things. She knows when hes trying to be affectionate and she'll pull him out of his fumbling right into a kiss. This only leaves him even more flustered.
Occasionally buzz will work up the nerve to be a little more suave, it still ends in him being putty in her hands.
He never minded her endless energy. Shes crazy and he wouldnt have it any other way. She's very physical but he doesnt mind it at all. She's the only one he's completely open to letting manhandle or just hug or touch in general.
