This goes for other symptoms as well: although pain can definitely contribute to people’s experiences of these symptoms, fatigue and brain fog are actual migraine symptoms, not just pain symptoms.

(a combo of OTC anti-nausea and pain meds also help in a pinch but doesn't totally stop it)

I'm going to add to this that if your primary medication regiment is using NSAIDs to help with the pain, then you should know that NSAIDs can cause rebound headaches if you use them specifically for headaches too often. They do help! But if you are treating regularly occuring migraines with NSAIDs, you have already reached the point where you should be seeking prescription treatment for preventing or stopping an attack if you can. It's MUCH easier to keep migraines from escalating than it is to rein them in once they've really gotten bad. Oh, and when your doctor asks how many migraines you've had this month, what they're really asking is "How many days were affected by migraine this month." There's a big difference between "I think I had one migraine last week" and "I had three days affected by migraine last week". One just tells them you had one. The other tells them that you were in an attack for almost half the week.

1) Ragatha is probably Kinger’s only actual friend because the others just see him as “crazy old man” and Ragatha actually makes an effort to talk to him like a person.

HE WASN'T THE "Oh teehee silly shenanigans, where am I?" Hoohah we all know and love, he was the "Oh, what a silly thing Gangle is doing! Maybe this will be able to cheer Ragatha up!" Dad-eqsue Kinger!

My main fic (and a few one shot/non-canon/spinoff type things) are set a few weeks after episode 6, where things are kinda going in a direction where everyone actually gives feedback to Caine and he listens (sort of), started out as a smut thing but then I realized it would be fun to explore how I could reasonably get their characters to agree to a group thing, now it's just an ongoing character drama examining their relationships and dynamics together

(There's also an intro to my circus oc but nobody's reading it and I don't blame them cuz it's not very good anyways lmao, might revisit it eventually)
