Just finished Widow’s Bay season 1 and I couldn’t figure out why I was disappointed in it (even though it was entertaining and had a good horror to humor balance)…. I think I was subconsciously hoping for adult gravity falls 😭😭😭 like I wanted a weird occurrence of the week show with some kind of over arching mystery that we only get hints toward until like season 3. I wanted Tom running around all summer trying to put out paranormal fires while keeping the tourists happy. Basically episodes 1-3 but for a whole 22 episode season
