Photos from my quick snapshot from last Saturday's test shoot. I've been slacking on updating my portfolio lately and I still have tons of test shoots to retouch while some are just not allowed to post yet. I always blame the slacking part to lack of that connection to the photos. That, otherwise, what this set gave me - a connection - that's why I posted it right away.

I styled and photographed this set and I just particularly liked the rawness and effortless feel of the shots. I also like the subtle 1920's vibe of it. I only did very minimal retouching on this (thus, the unclean hair strands) and I knew I wanted to leave all other flaws untouched. I also loved the freckles on the model's face that came out really well with the styling and the look of the shots - classic, feminine, mysterious, raw, natural, nostalgic.
