Last month, I went to see Perfume’s final Tokyo Dome shows before their hiatus — both days.

I cried during “edge” on DAY1, and again during “巡ループ” on DAY2. Yasutaka Nakata’s music and Perfume were the soundtrack of my youth.

On day one, I was in the 1F stand directly facing the stage — the sound quality there was absolutely perfect.

On day two, I was in the 2F stand, slightly to the left of the stage — the sound felt completely different, and the atmosphere around me was noticeably quieter.

In a way, it was like a preview for Oasis at Tokyo Dome later this month. I was insanely hyped before, but after realizing how much the sound and atmosphere can change depending on the seat position — and hearing about Bonehead not joining the Japan shows — I’ve calmed down a bit. Maybe that’s a good thing for my mindset.

By the way, the Bonehead photo tee from Adam et Ropé looks so artistic and stylish — love it. And I can’t believe they dropped Guigsy & Alan tees lol. This is history, isn't it? I want to be friends with anyone wearing a Guigsy tee. I got the Heathen Chemistry one.

What? What really frustrates me is seeing quite a few people in Japan missing the point. It feels like they’re looking at something entirely different, completely off the mark. Sometimes I even question whether they’re true fans. If you really are, shouldn’t you be able to see it? I get that this is a common thing in fandoms. But it’s the same feeling I get watching people fall for conspiracy theories. This is exactly why I hardly ever check X anymore. I love tumblr.
