I’ve been a fan of BATIM since it came out and I think its the reason I love and appreciate old art media. I know for a fact that without this game, I wouldn't be who I am today. Which is a little weird and maybe an exaggeration but its true for me. When I become a fan of something, its never casual. I have a ton of bendy merch. Made so much crappy fanart in notebooks. Wore bendy shirts to school. I even had a bendy backpack and water bottle because I wanted people around me to know how much I love this game. Despite never actually playing it at the time because I didn't have any money! All I had were the multiple playthroughs I’ve watched a million times. I had absolutely zero shame in my obsession. Which probably wasn't every healthy. I consumed so much fan media in my free time. I pretty much know the full lyrics to multiple fanmade songs. Which is pretty cringe but it made me the happiest middle schooler. Of course, over time my love for the game never faded but I did calm down on expressing it. Mainly because that obsession turned into Transformers but this is not about that! Currently I can play the game that I hold dear to my heart anytime I want. Even the other games that came out over the years relating to Bendy. So you know, I love bendy and the ink machine as much as I love my family.
