Team Taka Matsuri day 2: Sasuke

that aside, sasuke literally does not fucking care what others think of him. he told sakura she has nothing to do with his sins which was literally just his way of pushing her away from HIM, like always. even here after everything that happened sasuke could see that she hadnt matured she was still focused on her own feelings, feeling hurt and pitying herself rather than actually trying to understand sasuke and the path he had chosen. the only thing sasuke consistently acknowledged abt her throughout the story was that she was annoying and selfish.

sasuke just wanted self-reflection. he wanted to travel, see the world and understand things beyond what he knew before. during his travels, the person sasuke kept thinking abt and writing letters to was naruto. he reflected on their days together, their childhood and everything they went through. naruto was the person he carried with him in his heart throughout his journey across the world. his journey was never abt proving himself or seeking forgiveness from the village bc he felt guilty. he wanted to understand himself, the world and the path (love) he chose after everything that happened and the person who shaped that reflection more than anyone was always naruto.
