New Video! Our good friend Shaun Moriarty, the man responsible for the exquisite artwork on our last two EPs, has created this warm bath of light and colour to accompany our version of Talk Talk's "Inheritance". Inheritance is the closing track on our CULTS EP, and is a sprawling piece of proto-post-rock from the British synth-pop band turned sonic explorers, Talk Talk. Their album Spirit of Eden was an abrupt tangent away from mainstream pop music, resulting in commercial annihilation (much to the bitter disappointment of their industry backers), and long-term underground cult status. Enjoy!

One of the tracks from our recent Spaceship Earth EP, Sovereign Murders, is starting to feel eerily urgent in light of recent events.
Lines Drawn on a golden beach Keep us safe Keep us safe from what
Tongues Opaque Intent Listing mast Hull sinks deep with weight of threat
Managers of spaceship earth The great divide We decide who climbs
Ever noticed how the things we know Are just enough We need no more until we have more
I never found my myths down here Went fossicking around the world
Horizon gates Keep us numb Keep our breaths so shallow keeps our commonwealth so uncommon Great British ships Reeling in the shadow of a theft
Lines in the sand keep us safe keep us safe from what

PLEASE ENJOY THESE MYSTICAL PASTEL BALLS OF COSMIC RADIANCE.
Oh yeah, come to the show too.
A Manual for Spaceship Earth
Spaceship Earth is Nonsembleâs latest release: a set of five songs that reflect on the relationship between human rationality and the chaos of nature. The songs touch on the effects of technology on our worldview, our unwillingness to believe we might be wrong, our habit of drawing arbitrary boundaries on the world and then accepting those boundaries as sacred, and finally, how we can still find some beauty in the whole mess.
Read on to find out how the EP came together, what itâs about, and why. The full lyrics are also below so you can sing along with your friends on Spaceship Earthâs annual road-trip around the sun.
SPACESHIP EARTH INITIATING LAUNCH SEQUENCE
We are releasing our next EP, entitled Spaceship Earth, on March 24 via Bigo and Twigetti.
This one has been a long time in the making. 3 years of development and over a year of production, distilled into 5 songs that we canât wait for you to hear.
Unlike our previous instrumental releases, Spaceship Earth is a collection of songs with words â a song cycle, perhaps â underpinned by typically Nonsemble-esque detailed chamber arrangements. Weâve enlisted some of our friends whose voices we are in love with to sing these songs for us.
You can stream the track Somnambulists, and pre-order your copy from bandcamp right now.
We canât let you hear the rest of it just yet, but hereâs what it looks like:
01. Trucksea featuring Dean McGrath (Hungry Kids of Hungary, ROLLS BAYCE) 02. Unkind featuring Amela Duheric (Malo Zima, Amela) 03. Bricks featuring Shem Allen (Skinny Jean) 04. Sovereign Murders featuring Cameron Bower (Big Dead) 05. Somnambulists featuring Mel Tickle (Little Scout, Pynes) and Shem Allen)
We owe an enormous thank you to many people for helping us pull this thing together, and doubtless we will issue many thank yous in the in months to come. But for now, weâd just like to express some serious appreciation to Jim Perkins and the crew at Bigo and Twigetti for their hard work, to Shaun Moriarty (rumoko) for his glorious artwork, to our friends Dean, Amela, Shem, Cam and Mel, whose amazing voices truly set these songs alight, and to Tom Green, UQ Music, and Steve Bartlett for their valuable help in the production process.
this is a very very good tune
