I used to be really into a rather niche, rare pairing in the Identity V fandom — Edemil. From a lore perspective, it doesn’t really have any basis for existing, but the characters’ dynamic, the way they complement each other’s flaws, and how they might grow as people within this unique connection… makes my heart beat faster.

Doesn’t a union between two people sound promising when one of them is completely devoid of trust and love for the world—rational and cold, expressing their feelings only through art—while the other, despite all the suffering they’ve endured, continues to reach for the light, being the most devoted person imaginable? And this is only the surface… However, that’s not what this post is about. You can admire 1/100 of my work about them 🤲🤲🤲

Returning to my COA 7 AU, I would like to talk about how I once created a very dear-to-my-heart animatic on this theme, which became one of my most emotional works about Emil/Edgar. Below, you will also find a comic with a full English translation of all the text from the animatic.
