if i had the sense of it i could make a very elaborate compare and contrast argument to this scene with hal's relationship with arisia. kind of fascinating that mark waid was the one to write this issue too.

little bit weepy at the thought that the speedsters are all about love and connection and it's barry who kind of emphasizes the necessity of both to all the new speedsters. and also laughing because barry teaching ace and avery about the power of love, speedster style, is soooooo hypocritcal for a man incapable of talking about his feelings half the time. that's so cute barry now tell me when's the last time you had a conversation with ace without getting into a passive aggressive argument with him.

why does clark hate booster?? does he just not hate kenan bc super-man & superman + he’s younger or?

essentially, clark thinks booster is an annoying show-boat who's in the superhero business for all the wrong reasons. so like booster has the worst possible impression as a selfish egomaniac in clark's eyes because he uses heroism to boost his own wallet and popularity. and i don't know about kenan! i think he and clark get along, but presumably this is after kenan's character development? i have no idea!
