Just wanna day this for anyone out there that was in a similar situation to me: it gets better. I know how hard it can be to look in the mirror and not like what you see. That sounds incredibly cliche, but my skin is my biggest insecurities. I’ve worked really hard to not let it get to me, but there were some days when my acne was so bad that I didn’t even want to go outside. I actually apologized to someone once because my acne was so bad. They didn’t even mention it! I just met up with them and immediately apologized for my appearance. That’s not okay! Don’t be ashamed like I was. Acne is something that is incredibly hard to control. Be confident in yourself. Acne isn’t something that should be seen as a negative thing. EVERYONE has acne. If you’re taking steps to try and get healthier skin then good on you :) I’m prouda you! To those of you out there with or without acne: hey. You fucking rule. You’re a beautiful person :)

Be confident in who you are but at the same time don’t be afraid to take the steps you want to take to try and make you the best version of you :)
