I've always liked Ragatha a lot, shes a character is instantly related to. The concept of pushing down your own needs and feelings in order to not burden other people is just something that hit close to home. Wanting to be only a source of positivity and lifting people up, and not wanting to exist in any other way, is scary.

One of my biggest praises for Tadc is the fact that every character is deeper then the archetype they appear (and that works to oppose Jax's own negative world view). Every character has an emotional arc and through-line that you see in the first episode to the next, even if its extremely subtle. One-off lines or expressions are all intentional! This line from episode 2 is more on the nose, but it was so satisfying to see it connect with the fact that Ragatha doesn't want to be abandoned, she is willing to brush off something physically and emotionally painful if it means it won't affect pomni, when it is something pomni didn't even bring up.

Also here's another ragatha I drew from memory as i was playing with my watercolor pencils. She is my sopping wet cat.
